Edging on the side of caution and looking after all our staff, doctors and animals with looming severe weather; Marquesa Veterinary Clinic has made the decision to be CLOSED, today TUESDAY 9/27, likely moving into Wednesday and then TBD as we feel the after effects of Hurricane Ian. 🌀
Please note our local emergency facilities (Emergency Pet Hospital, Florida Veterinary Referral Center, Southwest Florida Veterinary Specialists) if needed and download our app to have updated records for you pet! Be sure to use the email we have linked with your account when activating our app, found in your App Store as “Marquesa Vet.” We will work diligently on keeping our voicemail updated with hours, reopening, etc.

Everyone please take a moment to welcome to Dr. Kubin’s (and our Marquesa) family, Leo and Cleo! Funny story, Dr. Kubin agreed to one cat to came home to two!! The girls didn’t have the heart to separate these litter mates and convinced him as well! 😉🥰
Don’t forget our local shelters are running a “clear the shelters” special and adopting out animals to approved homes FREE OF CHARGE! Dr. Kubin and his family have participated and done their part to save these two kitties and provide them the best life possible! Way to go Doc! 🐾

Grateful hearts equal grateful patients! 🤗
Rex came to us a couple weeks ago with a possible obstruction, was sent for emergency surgery which recovered squeaker toys that he had had in his belly for over six months!!
Here he is just chillaxing getting his sutures removed yesterday, wagging his tail and stretching to his comfort the entire time! Rex is one special boy 🐾
