Last night we celebrated Christmas with the colony cats. They were a little freaked out by the tree but hunger won out. The cats had their usual wet and dry food and we added catnip and Temptations. Every night we feed over 35 colonies, this costs $3,000 a month. Please help us keep their tummies full by sending a food donation. On August 10, 2024, three of the sickest kittens were brought to us for care. They were found in Immokalee, their rescuer saw them on the side of the road. This little guy is Bruce, the youngest of the three. He came in with a terrible upper respiratory infection, he couldn’t even open his eyes. Every day he got a little better, a little stronger. Today he is ready to find his forever home. Bruce is three months old and very sweet. We were really lucky that Hurricane Helene didn’t do more damage. The kitties are all safe but our property needs help. We have lots of downed palm fronds, a destroyed tent and awning. If anyone has some free time tomorrow and would like to lend a hand with cleanup, we would really appreciate it. We need to gather up all the palm fronds.
