🎃 Happy Howl-oween from Harborside Animal Clinic!! 🐾

Keep your furry friends safe this spooky season! Here are some tips to ensure a pet-friendly Halloween:

1. Keep candy out of reach! 🍫 Many treats, especially chocolate and those containing xylitol, can be harmful to pets.
2. Be cautious with costumes! 🧛‍♂️ Not all pets enjoy dressing up. If you choose a costume, make sure it’s comfortable and doesn’t restrict movement or breathing.
3. Watch out for decorations! 🕯️ Curious pets might knock over candles or try to nibble on decorations.
4. Trick-or-treat carefully! 👻 If your pet is anxious around strangers or noises, consider keeping them in a quiet room while trick-or-treaters visit.
