Jasmine has been in the shelter for almost an entire year — 365 long, lonely days — and not a single person has applied to adopt her. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to watch such a beautiful, loving soul slowly lose hope. Every day she waits behind those kennel doors, wondering why no one chooses her, why everyone passes her by.
Her story is one filled with pain and resilience. Jasmine lost her beloved owner suddenly, and since then, life has been nothing but heartbreak and confusion. Through no fault of her own, she can’t live with other animals and must be the only pet — something that has made finding her a home even harder. She’s been bounced from foster to foster, each time thinking she’d finally found safety, only to be uprooted again.
Now, after a year of waiting, she’s beginning to fade. The shelter environment is taking a terrible toll on her — the noise, the stress, the isolation. It’s breaking her spirit, and it’s devastating to see. Jasmine used to greet people with hope in her eyes, but now that spark is dimming. She needs out now — whether through adoption or foster care — before the shelter takes away the last of her light.
Jasmine is a truly wonderful girl — house-trained, affectionate, and happiest just lying in the sun or walking beside you. She doesn’t ask for much — just peace, safety, and someone to love her unconditionally.
