We are going into a week full of fireworks. If your puppy is not a big fan and gets anxious due to the loud noise, consider picking up some Happy Traveler all natural calming supplements at Spot's to let them relax for the evening. They also work for those loud summer thunderstorms.

In anticipation of Narberth's new ordinance that goes into effect later this year, banning plastic shopping bags from being given out, and in an effort to reuse paper shopping bags already out there, Spot's will be collecting clean, unripped, previously used paper shopping bags for re-circulation, If you have some that you were thinking of recycling, feel free to drop them off at the shop for actual reuse.

It's been a couple of years since we have had significant snow in the area, but it is possible that we will get some this weekend. Did you know that rock salt burns the pads of dogs? Instead, keep some Safe Paw on hand to melt any pesky ice on outside surfaces. That way, you won't slip and fall, and your dog will be comfortable. We have it right here at Spot's. Come on by and keep some on hand for when it is needed.

We have very exciting news at Spot's - We are now carrying Spencer's Plate foods! These are freshly made recipes that are human-grade, preservative-free, and delicious! Use as a complete diet or simply as a topper. Your pup will love it! Made locally with care.

Just a reminder that Spot's is having a fun day tomorrow in honor of our 20th Anniversary Celebration! From 11 to 1 pm, Main Line Animal Rescue will be here with a couple of dogs for adoption and to give out information about the rescue. My girl, Ladybird, came from there and she is awesome! Also, Spencer's Plate will be here with some delicious giveaways of their treats. I sell their beef jerky and have to resist eating it all myself it is so good. Come on by and say hello!

We have a fun day coming up at Spot's this Saturday, May 13th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. In honor of our 20th year in business, we will be having Main Line Animal Rescue here with an adoption event and Spencer's Plate with samples of their amazing treats! It promises to be a fun day, so come on by!

The wait is over!! For those who have been asking, Spencer's Plate treats have arrived! There are chicken biscuits made from slow roasted chicken thighs and beef jerky made from flank steak. Even picky dogs love them. Made right here in Lower Merion.

If you need a last minute stocking stuffer, we have great, warm hats and a limited supply of Yak Trax available (only in very small and larger sizes). They will be very handy when everything freezes this afternoon.
