We Finally got loaded around 10:30-11am and headed home still about 4 hours to go , my boy loaded well and gave me and sniff and let me touch his nose on our first stop . We ended up picking up a day late due to the snow and us not wanting to chance dangerous road conditions with him in the trailer . I have to of course give Stacy Garner , Tim Hickes and Laura Thompson a huge shoutout and thank you to always making pickup quick and easy and always being so welcoming we can't wait to see you all again in September for the show ❤️

Slow progress is still progress ❤️. Alcatraz first week at home there are 2- day 1pickup pictures and then 2 -day 7 pictures . I can walk up and pet him ,i got his tag off, I got a halter on and also have been able to switch Halters. He leads still gets sticky feet sometimes but he's catching on . I can touch touch his entire body with lunge whip . With hand I can touch his head,ears,neck,shoulders and halfway down his back without him trying to bite he has been a biter so it's a big deal. He will yield his hindquarters both directions . I put detangler in his mane and brushed it out . He is eating very well which I am thankful for he had a entire mixed grass round bale to himself . He is getting alfalfa pellets , chopped alfalfa ,beet pulp pellets, Purina amplify , aloe vera, daily gold by Redmond and a loose trace mineral .

My Pick for the 2024 EMM Mustang Spectacular. Tag #8908 a Bay 15h Devil's Garden Gelding. He looks more Buckskin than bay with his winter coat. He needs alot of TLC but be will clean up beautifully as you can see from the Corral photos he's a nice looking guy when a good weight and slicked out ❤️
