If you have horses, you know to expect the unexpected! This poor girl accidentally got her head stuck in a gate. She has facial nerve paralysis. She is able to eat and drink, but her face is paralyzed below her eye. When researching a treatment, electroacupuncture was the first choice. Include Dolly in your prayers ❤️. There is no guarantee she will recover, but we are sure trying! Will keep you posted on this journey!
Why would we perform acupuncture, magnawave and chiropractic on a 5 month old heifer?
Calving can be a tough thing for cows and their calves. The birth could be difficult, the calf could be dropped on a hard surface or any of a number of scenarios could cause the calf to start life with small subluxations. These small subluxations can lead to abnormal neurological and musculoskeletal development. These animals are growing at a fast pace. It is important for ALL of the muscles to receive proper innervation to develop simultaneously. The brain must be able to communicate with all of the muscles of the body.
Chiropractic care helps improve gait, balance and allows the animal to be more active and playful supporting healthy growth and development.
I will be in Decorah area for chiropractic appointments on Friday July 12, 2024.
Please message for appointment times.
Integrated Medicine helps a stud find his MOJO🐎
Generally we think of acupuncture and chiropractic care when we see gait abnormalities or know that an animal sustained an injury.
That said, there are many medical cases that benefit from integrated care. This short video is a beautiful one for me to see!! A stud who mounts the dummy but will not follow through is a great source of economic stress to his owner. The owner knew something was not right and feared for her business and the animal’s health.
A deep dive into Chinese medicine allowed us to support chronic deficiencies and help this stud get back to work producing healthy samples like the one in this video!
So grateful to be a part of his care!
You can teach an old horse new tricks!!
