Hello everyone, meet Otto! Otto is a 3 1/2 year old English Chocolate Lab. Otto was bred for temperament by Boonefield Labradors, a very well known therapy and police comfort dog breeding program. Otto was a surrender by someone who could not keep him and care for him properly. He was a nervous boy that snapped at two people because he was startled. He is now a happy, fun loving, social boy that loves to be outside. He enjoys working just as much as he does playing. He is crate trained and is good with people and dogs. A lot of Otto’s littermates are certified therapy dogs and he also has the temperament where he can achieve his therapy dog certificate. Otto has spent some time at Hudson K-9 where we have been working on his obedience, his socialization and building his confidence. Otto needs a forever home where his new family will exercise him, play with him, execute rules and boundaries as well as continue his obedience training. If you are interested in Otto feel free to email me at Hudson K-9 Training Center for the rehoming fee. Only serious inquiries and there is a rehoming fee, he is not being giving away. Part of that rehoming fee includes continued training with Hudson K-9. I’m sure he will not be around for long so don’t miss out on the chance to get a very well bred dog that will make a fantastic companion!!!

Stacey is still super happy with Teddy’s progress!! He continues to be a good boy and we are super excited for both of them!!! Great job Stacey and great job to all of our clients that continue to train daily. Remember your dog will be a well behaved and happy dog as long as you are providing clear leadership and continue to communicate with them in a manner that they understand!!!

Hudson K-9 had 9 clients dogs go for their Therapy Dog title today and all 9 dogs passed!!! A huge congrats goes out to Izzy, Gilly (Bedford PD), Lennox, Zena (Wilmington PD), Lucy (Boonefield Lab), Huck (Boonefield Lab), Nico, Dakota and Ivy!!!! We are so proud of you!!!!

Hudson K-9 Training Center is dedicated to providing personalized training programs to ensure that your pets are well mannered and obedient family companions at home or anywhere. We specialize in obedience training and behavior modification with dogs of all breeds and of all ages. Our goals are to teach your canine companion the commands and behaviors needed for everyday living. Also to educate you and your family with proper handling skills as well as provide you with a good understanding of your dog’s behaviors so that you will be able to clearly communicate with your dog.

We achieve our goals by offering only affordable private / semi private classes where we can really customize each program to fit your needs. We do not train with food or clickers; we use a simple approach that is realistic and no nonsense keeping it very easy for you and your dogs to learn.

Our home and training facility are located on the same premises which allow us to be extremely flexible making us available morning, noon or night. We schedule your classes week to week depending on your schedule. Please call or email us if you have any questions or concerns that you would like to get answers to.
