Cooper, a 6 year old Kuvasz from Grammy Rose Dog Rescue came to see us a couple months ago suffering from left hindlimb lameness since February. He became lame after playing and on exam Dr. Zitz noticed soft tissue swelling and diagnosed a torn cruciate ligament. We performed a TPLO surgery on this sweet man, and after lots of rest and physical therapy he is back on 4 legs and ready to mingle with the ladies! We love you Cooper!

Ginger, a 10 year old mixed breed acutely injured her left knee while playing at home. Her owners jumped into action getting her right in for a consult with Dr. Zitz to confirm she would need a surgical repair. On arrival she was very nervous, but after a few minutes out back with the team she was ready to put on her surgical cap and get the day rolling!

Facebook Meet Freyja! She belongs to Jill, one of our certified surgical technicians. She is a crazy 3 year old Belgian Malinois. She is super smart and athletic. Her jobs are protecting the house, doing tricks, playing with toys until her family is exhausted from just watching her, and chasing the geese and ducks away from their pond. She takes all of these jobs very seriously. She’s all in-all the time. In her spare time she likes to be a trash compactor, and destroys all the water bottles before they make it to the recycle bin. Jill says "call first if you are thinking of stopping by"

Olive belongs to our surgical assistant Emma. She is a 2 year old sassy lady who believes she is a dog. Although she has a sassy attitude, she is also a big ball of love. She enjoys bird watching, cardboard boxes, snuggles, zoomies and watching her mom make crafts! Olive loves her best friend Rex, who is her stuffed animal kitty and her stuffed pickle!

DID YOU HEAR OUR EXCITING NEWS?! A little over a year ago now The Animal Medical Center of New England and The Animal Hospital of Nashua were bought out by Pet Vet Care Centers. After over 30 years of being privately owned, we are now corporate backed, under new ownership, new hospital management, and have a wonderful new medical director on board! Currently our new hours are 7 days a week 8 am-8 pm. There are lots of new and exciting things happening over here and we would love to see you and your furry friends! Stop on by for a quick tour, say hello, or just bring your pup on in for a yummy cookie from our front desk staff.

Facebook meet Hazel! Hazel belongs to our Surgical Technician Supervisor, Lisa and her family. She is just a few months shy of 2 years old, and a bundle of crazy energy! She enjoys long walks, car rides, watching Animal Planet on TV, opening up the slider door at home and letting the indoor cats outside, and playing with her doggy friends here at the hospital. If you happen to see her while at the hospital make sure to say "Hello" She is the sweetest girl and loves to meet new people.
