1.) Scout is a children’s book author and illustrator! They offered custom pet portraits that came out amazing. Order their new book now! 📚 ❤️

2.) Ashley owns DŌG, an East Nashville based pet sitting service and is the best in the biz! She brought lots of snacks to share with our furry friends 🐶

3.) Michelle of brought hand made pet products including one of a kind, high value treats such as licky tallow, beef sprinkles and cracklings! Their products will be available for purchase at our shop 🤩

4.) Brooke of came along with to show off her skills by way of his perfect manners 🤗 Check out their 5k this spring for a fun filled day of bonding with your pup! 🏃🏼 🐕

5.) Lintu of is in the HUMAN spa business and offered free brow and lip sugaring services to raise money for . Check out their new state of the art studio just down the road from us! 💋 🧖🏼‍♀️

6.) Vickea is our amazing caterer and owner of . She absolutely knocked it out of the park with bone shaped chess squares, stuffed mushrooms and pasta salad. Run don’t walk to book her for your next event!

✨️Things to ask your groomer!✨️

As I have mentioned before, the grooming industry is 🚫NOT🚫 regulated like the human cosmetology, barber, and esthetic industry.

What this means is that basically ANYONE can purchase tools from amazon, walmart, or wherever and call themselves a groomer and charge people for it...even though they have 0 training nor insurance.
There are NO formal licenses required for grooming!

There are, however, several accredited grooming schools and academys as well as apprenticeships that offer several week courses which include canine anatomy, in depth training of bathing and drying each different breeds coat, breed standard grooms, show grooms and much more.
Many of these require you to perfect bathing, conditioning and drying and have an understanding of canine anatomy before even touching sharp objects!

These are some of the major questions to ask when choosing a groomer!

❗️Don't just choose them because they are the cheapest!
❗️Don't just choose them because they have an immediate opening tomorrow.

You are handing over a living being 🐶 to someone who will be handling sharp objects around their faces, sanitary areas, etc.

Make sure your family's pet(s) is/are in safe, gentle and caring hands! 🫶

Meet Your Groomer!

Rounding out our series we have our newest team member Bea 🐾

Bea is from eastern Kentucky and has had a love for animals from a young age. She has been in the pet grooming industry for 5 years and is so exciting to be able to have a career she is passionate about.

Her favorite pets to groom are the small babies that can be nervous, she loves to make them comfortable and happy during their spaw days 🛁

Having Bea on our team has been a perfect fit as her calm, loving energy with the pets is exactly what we’re all about! Thank you for everything you do Bea 🫶🏻🐶

Meet Your Groomer!

Today was have Mason 💙
Mason has been on our team since April and he is such a joy to work with!

He has learned grooming techniques with ease and has a special way with the animals that make even the most wiggly pup, calm and comfortable.

When he is a not with us as a grooming assistant, Mason works full time at Vanderbilt as a pharmacy tech.

His own adorable pup Tucker the chug (chihuahua-pug) is his best friend!

Mason, thank you for always brightening our day and being such an invaluable member of our team 🐶🐾

Everyone say hello to Erica 🐾

Erica has been grooming with us for the last 6 months and we love having her! With over 12 years of experience grooming, her talent is unmatched by few.

She is an expert with curly coated breeds and even taught Gabby some skills in Gabby’s earlier years grooming.

Erica also grooms at a vet hospital which expands her knowledge of pet health and safe handling techniques. She loves working with senior pets to keep them comfortable and make them look like puppies again 💜

Her personal pets are Joan Jett and Omar who are very spoiled by Erica and her daughter Camilla.

Everyone meet Leslie!

Leslie is a life long animal expert and lover. She has been a veterinary assistant for 20 years! She also went to grooming school in 2010 and learned to groom on show Bichons and Schnauzers.

Her expert knowledge of animal medicine and grooming coupled with her passion for what she does makes her an incredible grooming assistant on our team.

Her personal dog, Bowie is a gentle GIANT. You may have seen him in some of the creative grooming we have done.

Meet Your Groomer!
Today we have award winning Lindsey 🥇

Lindsey in an AKC master groomer and has been in the pet grooming industry for 18 years. Her favorite grooms are sporting trims and hand stripping.

Lindsey competes in grooming competitions all over the country and had an impressive FIVE wins just in 2023 alone.

Lindsey has a whopping 8 dogs of her own ranging from cocker spaniels to bedlingtons to terriers.

She is patient, compassionate and a wonderful teacher. Lindsey has even taught her daughter Hannah to groom and she has won competitions as well!

Lindsey has been with us for over a year and we love having her as a part of the team, her talent and dedication is truly inspiring.

Meet Your Groomer!

Today we are highlighting Allie, our beloved groomer who has been with us from the very beginning.

Allie has been in the pet industry for four years and training directly under Gabby for the last three. She has endured all of the trials and tribulations that came with starting this business and we wouldn’t be where we are today without her.

Her calm, kind demeanor makes her beloved by every pet she works with. Her favorite breed to groom being golden retrievers, we call her our golden girl! She grooms over 50 of our golden clients and is an expert in hand scissored trims.

Allie has also loved animals from a young age and grew up with boxers and westies. Her pets now are Maggie a golden and Blueberry a Dalmatian.

Allie manages our second van and is the right hand man to our entire operation. Thank you for all you do Allie, we love you so much! 💜🐾

With so many new faces and a company so rapidly expanding- we wanted to introduce you to our team! Welcome to our new post series- Meet Your Groomer!

Up first we have our owner and founder, Gabby! Gabby has been in love with animals since before she could talk, and working with them was always her dream. She has been in the pet grooming industry for 8 years and went to school for animal science. She has three pets of her own Iris, Berto and Gaia who is her rescue rottweiler that our business logo is modeled after.

Gabby is a certified color specialist and loves creative grooming. Her passion and mission in starting Gabby the Groomer was to create a safe, calm environment to make pets of all ages and temperaments comfortable with the grooming process. In just over two years she has expanded Gabby the Groomer to booming business filled with 7 other special groomers. Her dream is to be a household name for fun, unique and caring pet services.
