Mr Butter Bean is a two year old buff tabby beauty! This sweet, sweet boy is hoping to find his forever family very soon. He went to an adoption center this week but panicked a bit when he was left in a cage. Butter Bean is very loving and cuddly and needs a family that wants him in the middle of all of their family activities. Butter Bean is back in his foster home and we are hoping to do an at home adoption for him. Butter Bean is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and negative for FIV/FeLV. This 11 week old beautiful girl is seeking a home with lots of love, snuggles and companionship.

Astrid is a beautiful brown tabby, who promises to grow into a striking adult cat one day. Her looks are only outshone by her personality, which is the perfect combination of playfulness, curiosity, her love for other kitties, especially her siblings, and an endless appetite for snuggles and pets. She loves toys, snuggles with people, her feline friends and her foster dog friend with equal passion and she has an incredibly sweet personality.

Astrid was found alone on the road by the police at a tiny 4 weeks old. While she may not be littermates with her other 3 siblings, they are like 4 peas in a pod. She’s been living with her siblings in her foster home since her rescue. She is an absolute joy, with a wonderful, spunky personality.

Astrid absolutely loves other kitties and will need to go to a home where she has at least one other feline companion to do life with; she would be delighted to be adopted with one of her siblings.

In her foster home, Astrid has had 3 siblings, 3 resident cats and one golden retriever dog to do life with. After an introduction period, Astrid has shown that she is capable of fitting in well. Astrid absolutely thrives on the company and companionship of others and will need to be adopted into a home where she has another feline companion.

Astrid is negative for both FIV/FeVL. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on flea/tick prevention.

Sisters Agnes and Autumn are looking for their forever home! These girls are eight months old and appear to have some Maine C**n in them, because they are already quite large.

While they aren't lie on top of each other snuggle buddies, they do rely on each other the same as any bonded pair. They have always been together and know no other way to live. Because of this, they are being adopted out as a bonded pair.

Their ideal home will be a quiet one, without the hustle and bustle of small children and multiple pets. Agnes and Autumn are not big on being picked up and carried around, but they will snuggle their people on the bed and sleep with them, and sit on their lap and purr while you watch tv.

Their new parent(s) must be willing to let them adjust on their own timetable, as they are shy on introductions.

This sweet little lady is about 1 year old. She is currently hanging out at Cool Springs Petsmart looking for some humans to adopt her. Lily likes other kitties and she has a very loving personality. Lily has a bit of old trauma to one of her eyes but she can see and she should have no additional issues with that old injury. Lily is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FIV/FeLV. She came into rescue as a stray and is very sure that she wants to be an inside kitty for the remainder of her life.

Thank you to our generous supporters who helped NCR reach our fundraiser goal for the 40+ kittens rescued from euthanasia! They are enjoying foster life free of shelter cages and we are so relieved they are safe. Congratulations to our new foster families who saw our plea for help and welcomed their first foster kittens into their homes! Yesterday, Nashville Cat Rescue was contacted by an animal shelter in Henry County that was struggling with kitten overpopulation and in the unfortunate situation of having to euthanize for space and illness. So, we rallied our foster homes and found placement for every kitten and cat in the shelter and cleared them out the day before they were set for euthanasia! Our original goal was 30 kittens but we ended up taking all 42. Now our amazing fosters will go to work getting these kittens vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and adopted out into loving forever homes.

We are asking for donations to help with the veterinary costs for all of these babies. Our goal is $4,000, which will go a long way in getting each kitten combo tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, treated for fleas and internal parasites, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Houdini may have CH but he isn’t going to let that get in his way! Houdini loves to explore and find new ways to explore different parts of the house - which is why he’s named after Harry Houdini! Houdini wants to explore and play and above all else, wants to be held and snuggled. He loves to be cradled and has a great purr!

The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. The condition is not painful or contagious. CH is also known as wobbly cat syndrome. Margot is still looking for her forever family. She is beautiful, sweet as sugar, and smart!! She was born January 1st 2024, and is the only remaining kitten from her litter. She is fixed, has had all her shots, tested negative for felv/fiv, and is ready to go home now!

We are six adorable kittens looking for our forever homes! Our mom was taken in by Nashville Cat Rescue only a few days after we were born. She was very young and we were already her second litter of kittens. Our foster humans took good care of mom while we were growing big and strong.

We are now fixed, vaccinated and fully vetted. We have been socialized with lots of people and have learned to not be scared of “house sounds” like blow dryers and vacuums. We have played, jumped, meowed and loved each other every day. We always use the litter box and clean our plates when you feed us. Seven-month-old Volta looks more like a cherub than a kitten with her chubby cheeks and doll eyes. She is known to her friends and family as The Velveteen Kitten due to her soft fur. But don’t let her looks fool you: Volta’s real beauty is her heart.

Volta was found in a cat colony with no mama to care for her. She sat alone, her eyes crusted shut with dirt and infection. Her little body was covered in dozens of fleas, and she hadn’t had a regular meal in a long time. Despite this hard start, Volta has nothing but love and joy to share. She adored her former foster siblings and is good friends with her foster parents’ resident kitties; you can find her snuggling, playing with, or grooming them. Volta loves to snuggle her caregivers and has even cuddled up with their grumpy tortie who prefers kittens at a distance. Everyone who meets her falls hard and fast.

Volta also has a mischievous side. She is OBSESSED with bread and will try to take slices from her caregivers, even though she knows she’s not supposed to eat human food. Life with Volta is full of laughs over her silly antics.

Volta adores other felines and must be adopted into a home with another kitten or affectionate cat. She dreams of a furever family keen on providing her with lots of cuddles, playtime, and soft blankets (she is an avid biscuit maker).

Little Red Tabby Daffodil was found homeless and wondering. A thorough search for her family came up empty. She is such a sweet girl! Daffodil is about 1 year old, spayed, UTD on vaccinations and negative for FIV/FeLV. She seems to always have a sad look on her face but we are hoping that will change when she finds her forever family.
