Helpful hints for Separation Anxiety.. You see doodles are VELCRO DOGS... from the beginning. They JUST LONG to be with us... Everyday... Every hour... Every place.. That’s one of the reasons healthy at home “nap times” are so incredibly important... Your pups need to know that while you are at home, they CAN survive. They CAN have independent times where they don’t follow you to the bathroom to watch you pee. They don’t need to be a 4legged stalker every minute of every day.. At home crate training simply means, listen pooch, I need some “Me time, I will be back, I’m just in the other room.. You can hear me talk on the phone.. You can hear me vacuuming the floor.. You’ve got this!!! You can be that strong independent doodle who doesn’t need to be freaked out everytime it’s crate time thinking your will be ABAONDONED for YEARS (oh ok, maybe just a couple of hours)😂We have noticed this REALLY helps with separation anxiety.. It give your pup a sense of security both in themselves and in their safe place.. It could he a laundry room or their crate.. I believe that this is one of the reasons there are so many Covid dogs who have to be medicated due to separation anxiety. These pups just don’t know how to handle life without their owner since their owner was home 24/7. Their families just never left and now that life goes on post covid, these dogs whole world is upside down and they don’t know what to do..So this I’m my encouragement to you... Let your doodles have some me time to encourage mental strength and independence... Breakfast.. Second breakfast... Brunch, Lunch, Second Lunch... You get the idea.. Even though they have free choice kibble, My Nursing gals get not just the best BUT they get what ever they want.. and this is just breakfast.. For lunch we will throw some cheese and a little sour cream in the kibble. If course Ivy (named after the ivy on Wrigley Field) takes it to an extreme!! I've started leaving the biscuit box out so she can get a snack whenever. I keep saying this so that people recognize theimportance of raw bones. A dog can digest raw bones but cooked bones are incrediblydangerous. They splinter and can puncture their stomach...

OH DEER!!!!! HELP me name her/him below?I woke up this morning and was pleasantly surprised as I looked out my front I did window and saw this rare beauty romping in the field across from us. The web says that she is 1 in 20,000 -30,000 but I have have been blessed to see a few of these in Nashville over the years! ❤️ I have heard years back that there our deer have a gene that causes albinos to happen more often. This Babe, showed up in our BACK field a month or two ago and I haven't seen until now.. She was glimmering in the sun. I KNOW!!! Here come the haters, Goldendoodles aren't a "breed" by AKC standards. Ya know what? You are RIGHT!! They ARE MUTTS... Just like every other breed was at some point.. I will say that, so often you have people who have no buisness breeding throwing a Poodle and Golden Retriever together producing puppies without the proper testing, training and knowledge... Here's the thing, poodles are AMAZING and everyone should have one... Golden Retrievers can't be any better and if I had a husband who could have dogs that shed in the house I'd get one BUT... he just can't tolerate the hair.... Jennifer here! This video just popped up on my FB memories from 12 years ago. This is our Webster playing with some pups over at my mom's (Donna) old house. These are probably Lindy puppies. Anyone remember visiting pups at Donna's house? Anyone remember meeting my big ol' Webster dog? (Not the best quality video but it was 12 years ago and things have changed a lot since then!)

It starts from day one and continues till they go home... They each not only Early Neurological Stimulation but they learn so many really life things by living IN our HOME, not in another building or a kennel. They are handled constantly by my kids and have learned to roll with the punches and with all of them the cuddles during school they MUST retain some knowledge of science, history and Math 😉 making them the SMARTEST doodles around.. But in a seriousness, there is alot of extra time and effort, training that goes into these guys which if YOU don't continue giving them the nurturing they need. Just sticking them into a crate or closing them in another room when they annoy you, only takes all the work I've done and replaces it with anxiety, hyper and discontent dogs. They are BRED for people.... Raised for love...
