At Middle TN Pet Care, we are committed to give your pets the best care and latest training techniques while maintaining a fun and safe environment for your pet. While working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician over the last few years, she has expanded her business from occasional cat sitting to full service animal care. Recently, she has made the decision to leave the veterinary field behind and

solely focus on pet care and training, which she finds to be her true passion and utilization of her best skills. As Elizabeth has already been in high-demand in the middle Tennessee area, she is excited to announce the expansion of her business to provide more services! Elizabeth has brought on a business partner, Amanda, as a second caregiver as a way to ensure we have the greatest availability to serve you! You will get to choose who cares for your pets, but they are in amazing hands with either provider. We love caring and connecting with animals and creating everlasting relationships. We provide care for your fur baby as if they were our own, and ensure that they receive the highest quality care while you're away.

Edit: Tragically Marvin Jones has been found deceased. He did not make it out of the fire. Much love to his owner ❤️

Marvin’s apartment burned down this morning and he has not been found yet. Let’s bring him home!

It is SO hot out there! Keep your pets safe in this summer weather.

We are watching out for your pups by shortening scheduled walks to quick potty breaks and indoor enrichment activities. If you wouldn’t walk barefoot outside, they shouldn’t have to either!

As your pet sitter, I hope to never face a medical emergency - but we all know it happens. As a licensed veterinary technician, I am constantly furthering my education to improve my knowledge! While I may not work in a vet clinic anymore, I take that knowledge every day into your homes to keep your pets safe and healthy, and be able to identify issues early!

Had a great evening hanging out with Teddy while his parents were seeing last night! He didn’t like the storms or rain but we watched some rom coms on Netflix and that made it a lot better!

I am absolutely devastated to share the passing of two of the greatest pups I have had the pleasure to watch. Miss Al and Zeppelin passed away in a house fire on Tuesday morning. I had just been with them Monday afternoon, playing in the yard and laughing about how terribly they were at fetching toys.

I first started watching Miss Al in January 2022 when I got an urgent call that she was supposed to go to boarding, but was sick and needed an in-home sitter. I rushed over a few hours later to meet her and her amazing parents. She was the greatest dog. And then I found out they adopted another! I didn’t get to meet Z right away. One day I was visiting a cat on the east side of town, and this adorable Boston mix came running up to me. I looked at his tag and it was Z! He jumped into my car and I dragged him back home to his very worried parents. The little turd (and I say this with all the affection and love) wore an AirTag after that. They were crazy. They were needy. They were nuts. And I loved them so much.

My heart is absolutely broken. I collapsed on the floor when I heard the news. I’ve cried nonstop since Tuesday. I’m devastated for their parents, for the loss of their home, their things, and most importantly these two sweet angels. When I take on clients, many become friends. And their pets become my pets. I feel like I’ve lost two of my own, and it’s going to take a long time to heal from this. Please hug your babies a little tighter today and know that tomorrow is unknown. Show them nothing but the love you have for them, because they could be gone sooner than you know.

Midnight is inside and safe from the freezing weather! I got him inside a garage yesterday and while he’s not happy about it, he’s alive and warm. Feral cats matter too!

Just as a reminder, he’s also still looking for a home!

Anyone looking for a GREAT cat?

Meet Midnight! Midnight has been living outside in the Germantown area for several years now. He had a best friend, Shadow, and they were inseparable until Shadow went missing just before Thanksgiving. Now Midnight is all alone and very sad. Midnight had also begun wanting to be an inside cat, especially in this crummy winter weather. The incredibly sweet woman that has been feeding him for years would like to find him a home with someone that can love him as much as we do!

Midnight is neutered and UTD on vaccines. He can be fully vetted again before going to a new home. Midnight obviously does well with other cats, and possibly with dogs (but seems a little nervous around them). Age unknown but likely around 4 years old. VERY sweet, especially if you feed him his favorite Temptations treats.

New Payment & Cancellation Policy - Effective July 1, 2022

Reservations with Middle TN Pet Care & Training will not be confirmed until the client has completed their profile on Time to Pet. All reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total booking amount. Additionally, a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit may apply. Clients canceling within 48 hours of the start time will be charged the full amount of the booking.

We require a credit card on file through Time to Pet, however final payment of invoice may be made via cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal. Card on file will only be used for unpaid balances or per client request.
