Training SPOT I am a Behavior consultant for the dog and a body language and leash specialist for their human! I can help with basic or advanced obedience training.

My name is Tonia Floyd and I am a certified professional dog trainer. I love all dogs, from puppies to shelter dogs and will work with a wide range of problems and issues. I also work with behavior modification of all dogs and have multiple rescue organizations I work with to make life better for behaviorally challenged dogs and make sure they and their new owners have all the help they need. I

will do an in home evaluation and come up with a plan for you and your family based on your needs. At that point you can choose to work with your dog in your home or at the Training Spot Ranch, located 20 minutes outside of Nashville. I also offer boarded residency programs, where your dog stays at the Ranch for multiple day training sessions and then you are taught the commands with your dog when I bring them home to you and we do the follow up sessions. In addition to obedience training, I do socialization training with a balanced pack, dog integrations and use my pack to teach dogs things we can’t. Here comes Mama and the babies….

I have a shed set up that I use for dogs all the time. There is a dog door and a pen for mom to go out back and plenty of safe space for the puppies.

- I have a pool for nursing and the puppies
-I have fencing to divide her off for rest
- I could use any advice on things I should be doing for mama food wise that helped her. Christy Mckinney helped me through the litters I had a couple years ago and I just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing.

Need:
-any old smaller blankets and towels
-couple of bags of puppy food when they finish nursing
- I feed Costco which is great and only $37 and I would like to add some canned which is $30 case for mama while she is feeding
-toys for mama - Benebone and a stuffie
- 1 bottle of natures miracle

So I don’t need much. Christy and Alita taught me so much.

Boone is a gentle giant. He is 4 years old and 104 pounds. He doesn’t get on furniture or counter surf (which he could easily do due to his size). I walks great with our dog, Oliver who’s 6 years old and 55 pounds. He’s been eating first thing in morning followed by a walk. He just hangs out and sleeps all day. He then eats dinner and that is followed by a walk.

He sleeps all night. He is curious about our cat, but doesn’t hurt her. He’s a good dog!! Ps He rides well in vehicle and boat.

Thought you’d like to see Avadale and her “11” babies. They are all doing well and so is she! I know she is soaking up a soft, clean bed, fresh, plentiful food, and air conditioning!
Still am amazed that she held off delivering until just a few hours after getting to her foster home..Whew!! Close call for sure!

We pulled Tulip several weeks ago from the Memphis Shelter. She had the dreaded parvo virus and things looked pretty grim. Since she was too ill to be transported to our primary vet here in Dickson, Tulip was taken straight from the shelter to a Memphis hospital. It was touch and go several days, but with constant care and the use of monoclonal meds, she defied the odds.

Once recovered enough from that sickness, we had her taken to the vet for a pre spay exam. It was determined that at some point her pelvis had been broken. Enough time had passed that it had already healed, but how sad all she has endured as a less than a year old pup. Now spayed and fully recovered from her illness, she is ready to be adopted.

Tulip is a happy, loving, playful girl who deserves nothing but the VERY best adopter. So many rescues have such a sad start in life. We are always so grateful to have the opportunity to change their plight. Sweet Tulip, it’s the spring of your life. There is an exceptional adopter out there just for you.
