At Crossroads we provide trauma-informed services that guide, coach, and support young adults through the successful transition to independent, productive adulthood. We offer support in major life skills, employment and career services, educational opportunities, stable housing, and personal wellbeing.

Through the operation of multiple social enterprises—including animal adoption and education, retail, grooming, and a cat café—young adults learn valuable job skills, earn living wages, and develop the ability to manage personal finances while also defining and starting a long-term career path.

· perform CPR on your dog or cat,
· help your pet if they start choking or have a seizure,
· recognize the signs of life-threatening conditions like bloat, a urinary blockage, or heatstroke,
· routinely check your pet’s vital signs to help discover diseases in their early stages,
· keep yourself safe when caring for an injured cat or dog,
· avoid hazards and keep your four-legged family members safe and healthy.

Many of the young adults in our job training program are talented artists. At Crossroads Café, they gain valuable job-readiness experience by working as baristas and caring for our adoptable cats. They also use their creativity to design original artwork, signage, and digital graphics that bring our café to life.

📣 MEET TROUT! 📣

Trout is our studly and silly supervisor!  He is a natural herder and loves to people watch, making sure he's always aware of his surroundings.  You'll either find Trout patrolling and observing or snuggling as close as he can physically get.  This boy's cuddles always end up in a belly flop after sliding down your legs, making sure he made the absolute most of his affection.  Trout is very friendly boy and enjoys interacting with new people.  We feel he would do best with an active family and some space to run and use some his energy.  If you're looking for a doting and vigilant companion, Trout is just the guy for you!

Crossroads is a Nashville nonprofit that uses the healing power of the human-animal bond to help people and animals in need. We do that through innovative programs that provide humane education, job training and affordable housing for young people and adoptions for homeless animals.

We rescue and adopt out dogs and cats with our partner agencies, such as Metro Animal Care and Control. We also offer a wide range of quality pet products and services, including healthy foods and treats, toys and supplies, dog self-wash and professional grooming.
