Here’s a little about Cowboy:
I am middle aged trouble maker without much hair. I was found wandering the mean streets of Antioch and taken in by another middle aged trouble maker without much hair.

I am a poodle that identifies as a pit-bull owned by a vet-med worker that identifies as a cowboy. I have used up 5 of my 9 lives but like to believe I have learned many lessons and now I am a very good boy. I sit like a frog and therefore give the best hugs.

As Vet tech week is coming to a close, we want to highlight our own Vet Staff that works tirelessly day in and day out to give your pet the upmost medical and patient care! Working at a Vet Clinic is a VERY difficult job! All day you are on your feet running, on your knees drawing blood or laying on the ground in various positions to hold a pet properly. You are a radiologist, phlebotomist, anesthesiologist, cytologist, diagnostician, nurse, therapist (to humans and pets) and all while being a professional pet snuggler too! It’s an arduous and strenuous job, but we do it because we LOVE animals and still manage to find time to have a little fun too! Thank you Southside Staff for all your hard-work and dedication! You all are the BEST!! 🌟🌟🌟

Our August Unicorns of the month are Poppy and Abbie! 🦄 🦄 Poppy has been with us since the beginning of the year as a Veterinarian Assistant. She is always eager to jump in and help out anyone who needs it! She is a multitasker that is always on the go looking for the next room to clean, nails to trim or appointment to be started! Thank you Poppy for all your handwork and positive attitude! 🦄 Abbie is our newest kennel assistant and it has been a joy having her with us! She has been a quick learner, good listener and enjoys loving on all the boarders! Welcome Abbie! We are so excited you have joined our team and look forward to your journey with us!

Since 1993, Southside Animal Hospital has provided top quality veterinary care to dog and cat owners in Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, Antioch, Nolensville and Williamson County & Davidson County, Tennessee.
