Veterinary Ophthalmology Services works closely with your veterinarian to provide the most up-to-date eye care and surgical treatments for your pet. Miss Luna Bailey had cataract surgery yesterday and stopped to pose with Santa at her follow up today! We are pretty sure she asked Santa to have her Elizabethan collar/cone of shame removed but she will have to wear it until the new year so she heals well. Best wishes for smooth recovery and happy holidays to her and her owner!

The big scary weekend for your pets is coming up! While we humans may enjoy fireworks, most pets do not, and many run away in fright each year on Independence Day. So make sure your pets are secure in the house during the festivities and confirm their tag and/or microchip information is up to date in case they do get lost. Finally, if the noise has been a problem in the past and they need some at home sedatives, call your primary veterinarian today to make sure they can fill a prescription in time.

All offices of VOS will be closed for the 4th and 5th. Have a safe and happy holiday!
