At Paws and Claws Animal Hospital, we understand that your pet is a special part of your family and we are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's healthcare. Our services include:

General Medicine

We offer preventative healthcare such as:
-Examinations
-Geriatric medicine services
- Management for patients with chronic disease such as kidney failure or diabetes.
-Vaccination protocols

specific to your pet’s lifestyle
-Referrals to specialists for consults and special procedures
-Pediatrics
-Behavioral consults

Laboratory Services

We provide in house blood chemistries with our high quality IDEXX blood machines. This gives us the ability to diagnose your pet quickly and start treatment immediately. We also send blood in to Antech Laboratories for a wide range of other diagnostic testing

Radiology

We have in house radiology service for efficient diagnosis. Surgery

We offer a wide variety of surgical procedures including routine spay and neuters, orthopedics-cruciate repair, fracture repair, tumor removal, bladder surgery, GI surgery etc…

Dentistry

Periodontal disease, which affects 85 percent of dogs and cats over the age of 2 is a painful and progressive gum disease. The bacteria from the diseased mouth will spread throughout the body and affect the heart, liver, kidneys and other major organs. If your pet is developing tarter on their teeth we will scale, polish and apply fluoride to their teeth under general anesthesia to help prevent gum disease. Laser Therapy

We offer state of the art treatment with a class IV Therapeutic Laser. The Therapeutic Laser can relieve pain, reduce swelling and increase range of motion. Some of the thing laser therapy can help with are:

-Osteoarthritis
-Joint pain
-Edema and congestion
-Muscle strains
-Ligament strains
-Puncture wounds
-Hip dysplasia
-Ligament sprains
-Chronic wounds
-Burns
-Neck and back pain
-Rehabilitation
-Post surgical pain

Microchipping

We have the Avid Microchip- If your pet is lost all shelters and veterinary hospitals across the country are equipped to scan them for a chip and return them to their loving home. Dogs are taken outside supervised in our fenced in yard 3 times a day. We provide blankets and towels to lie on. There are some toys here but owners are welcome to bring 1 of their toys from home. Cats are housed in a separate kitty room in cages that provide a high shelf for them to lie on. Bathing

We bathe both dogs and cats. Our baths include a nail trim, a**l sac expression and ear cleaning.
