Long post please bear with us but a lot of information needs to be shared.
Ready go outside
Bubbles and Bows is dedicated to providing your pets with the highest level of care.
We understand the importance of their safety and well-being, and we take every precaution to ensure their stay with us is a positive one. We try to keep the salon a peaceful and calm environment. For our safety and the wellbeing of the pets we serve. We ask if your pet is here for a service please refrain from calling us or stopping by for updates, as this may cause more delays and disrupt the pets focus. Which could result in an injury or a longer grooming session, we need to keep your pets attention focused on us and with so many interruptions it’s hard. We will contact you as soon as your pet is ready for pickup. Our normal routine is 3-4 hours. We also can’t always step away from our grooming tables to answer the phone or come to the front desk. So it is best to leave us a voicemail or text for your grooming/boarding requests. Please include your name, pets name, desired days and time, we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

Also our space is limited so we ask that you promptly pick up your pet after we call. I try very hard to keep our overhead down as much as possible to be able to pass affordable rates onto our clients, but having to pay employees to stay at the salon to pick up your pets 3 to 4 hours after their service is completed runs up my payroll if this continues to happen, I will have no choice, but to raise our prices yet again. I feel this would be very unfair to our clients that pick up promptly. I understand life circumstances happen and sometimes you cannot pick up in a timely matter, but please communicate with us. Let us know that you can’t pick up until a certain time when booking the appointment or at the very least at drop off, so we can book ahead. We can always book an afternoon appointment to cover the payroll cost. We do not have a closing time once everyone is picked up for the day and all our boarding clients have checked in or checked out we leave for the day our boarding technicians come in to take care of the pets at their designated times. I have worked very hard to keep tight schedule, but when clients do not pick up on a timely matter, it throws everything off.
This also goes for our clients that drop off late. This puts us behind if my bather is having to wait 15 to 20 extra minutes to bathe your pet because you arrive late it then also pushes the groomer 15 to 20 minutes behind on getting that pet complete which runs into the pet that follows behind your appointment so please plan accordingly and arrive on time. Unfortunately, if you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment, we may have to reschedule you or you will have to go to the end of our schedule for the day meaning that your pet will be here till the end of the day. It is not fair for our clients that arrive on time to have to wait longer to receive their pets back..

I would also like to remind everyone about getting on our recurring schedule. You get a discounted rate if you sign up. This helps you and your pet stay on a regular grooming routine. So you don’t have to call to make appointments. Save money and time. Your pet stays clean and has a healthy coat. Plus your pet becomes comfortable with their grooming habits. It helps us in so many ways as well. Less phone volume, the pets costs are healthier and mat free equals less time on our table. Our schedule is set so we have an easier time scheduling our employees. Pets become happier and more comfortable with their environment so less behavioral issues.

If you would like to add to our recurring schedule. Send me a text 919-987-7531 with the following information.
Your name
Pets name
Best day to come(Tuesday-Friday) our Saturday is currently on a waiting list.
Best appointment time 8am-1pm
How many weeks apart. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 weeks. Anything longer than eight weeks does not qualify for a discount.
Just a heads up if our schedule becomes completely full with reoccurring appointments, we will stop taking new clients. Betsy is starting to train a young lady to learn how to groom. She is currently a bather and has no grooming experience so we are feeling it’ll be 4 to 6 months before she takes on any haircut appointments.
Betsy is also currently working on an afternoon wait list to offer later day appointments. These appointments will be with her. Lauren cannot offer late afternoon appointments due to her children.
If you would like to be added to the list send a text which day and time it best for you. She’s trying to see which days would be better for everyone. We do not have the staff to offer extended afternoon appointments every day. We are hoping to be able to offer 2 days a week soon.

I know it’s crazy to think about it but it soon will be the holiday season so please plan accordingly to get your pets boarding and grooming needs scheduled. We had to turn away so many last minute clients last year. 😢
Sorry for the long post.
We appreciate all of your patience and continued support.❤️🐾🐾

Directly from the WakeGov Pets: Wake County Animal Center

The Wake County Animal Center is facing a heartbreaking situation – we are critically full and, if space on the adoption floor isn’t freed up by adoptions, reclaims by owners, fosters or transfers to rescue partners, we will be forced to create space by euthanasia. Staff have put together a list of at-risk animals, which has only been done one other time in recent years. Most of these beloved animals have been in our care for over 90 days (with some closer to 175 days). While the Center is completely full in both the public and staff-only areas, leaving no room for new animals, please understand this difficult decision is a last resort. In an urgent effort to save lives and preserve our eight-year record of not euthanizing a healthy, adoptable animal for space, we are participating in month-long the Clear the Shelters event. During this event, all adoption fees will be waived in hopes of finding loving homes for the wonderful animals in our care. This adoption promotion will take place from Friday, August 9th through Sunday, September 8th.

Our team is highlighting the most URGENT dogs in groups of 3. We started last night with the first three and did three more this morning. However if you can't adopt one of them but can adopt a different dog thats AMAZING and helpful; any adoption that makes space will allow the shelter to keep more of the urgent dogs.

Franklin Animal Shelter manager involved in the state investigation is reportedly no longer working at the shelter. The shelter is asking for help at this time; they are in desperate need of rescues, fosters, and adopters. Rescues who previously stopped pulling from Franklin Animal Shelter are highly encouraged to reach out again. Cynthia is one of many animals for adoption; the shelter is full. https://www.franklincountync.gov/county_services/animal_shelter.php

On July 23, 2024, Sheriff Atkinson and Detective S. Shaw stopped by Jo Ann’s Place to speak with some staff to help continue our great relationship with them. Jo Ann’s Place is the Children’s Advocacy Center in Rocky Mount, NC. This is another great year of teamwork with the Sheriff’s Office and Jo Ann’s Place. They do great work to help protect the children of Edgecombe, Nash, and Wilson Counties. Sheriff Atkinson stated that we appreciate all the hard work the center does to keep the children in this community safe. We will continue this great partnership to advocate for the Children.
