Queso is a sweet, cuddly, energetic kitten. She’s still very skittish, but once she warms up to you she loves to sleep with you and will follow you around the house. She’s very playful and likes looking out the window. Queso would do best in a house with no other pets or children as she is very easily frightened of loud noises and sudden movements.

King is sweet, handsome, and incredibly mellow. He loves to meet new people and new cats.
We think he’s had a doggy friend before since he goes up to the glass at the adoption center when a dog is near.
We don’t know much about his past as he was discovered as part of a “community cat” colony. He stood out as a very special guy who would thrive in a home environment so NCR was contacted to help him find his new family.
King can be visited at the One Hundred Oaks PetSmart.

Our next monthly Low-Cost Vaccine and Microchip Clinic will be at FiftyForward Madison Station on Saturday, October 26th! The first 100 attendees will be able to receive vaccines, microchips, deworming medication, and flea/tick prevention for their dogs and cats thanks to your local donations and a generous grant from the Banfield Foundation! 🐶🐱⁠

Vaccines are $15 each: Rabies, DAPP, DAPPL, Bordetella, and FVRCP.
Microchips are $10.
General Deworming Medication is $5.
Flea/Tick Prevention (lasts 30 days) is $10.

• Serving the first 100 pets (dogs and cats) to arrive. ⁠
• Cash and/or credit payment options only. ⁠
• We ask that all pets please be on a leash or in a carrier.

Chelsea is 1.5 years old and just a little Lovie. She has a little bobtail and a cuddly personality. Chelsea is spayed, UTD on vaccinations and negative for FIV/FeLV. She does well with other kitties even though she’s a little shy at first. Chelsea was found wounded and wondering the streets. She is all healed up and ready to find a family that will keep her safe inside the rest of her life. She is currently in her foster home. Our Story

Pet & House Sitting- I began my passion for animals at a very young age, saving small animals from my family cat Taffe, to talking to just about every single animal I came in contact with, every animal I came across I felt deserved to be loved and respected.. Then in Junior High I began saving stray dogs that I would find dumped in our neighborhood and doing what I could to find them good homes. That passion continued onto High School where I volunteered at our local Humane Society all during high school and was honored by working my way up the volunteer laddeer.I knew that aniamls deserved a good life and to be with good families. I completely enjoyed and treasured, my time working for the humane Society and knew that my life would always be involved working with animals.

Once I moved to east nashville,I wanted very much to expand my working with animals and intertwine it with helping people. I began by working for local Rescues and doing Foster work and I took my passion to the next level and PAWS & HANDS began in 2007 It has continued to be a way for me to work with animals of all types and also help people. I am completely enjoying running PAWS & HANDS and I’m very happy with the lives it has touched.This will always be part of my lifes work..
