Mr. Barrington and I started out on shaky ground. He doesn’t enjoy people in his bubble and when Barrington gets loud, it gets your attention 😆

Fast forward 3 weeks and now we have some communication. Doesn’t mean he now likes people in his bubble, but it means we can maneuver through those scenarios without incident. He understands when we are out, I got him. I’m not letting anyone in that bubble so he can relax and focus on the task.

Thanos is one ready to go working line Doberman!He's full speed ahead all day, everyday! His owner needed his recall to be on point with the distractions around the yard he was vulnerable to. I understood the surface meaning of that at the time, but didn’t realize the depth to which that statement would/could impact training until recently. Mr. Chase and I started on some rocky ground. Chase’s instinct is to bite when something makes him nervous….and everything makes him nervous 😬. However, this morning was different. Chase looked up at me and his whole body said “I don’t 100% trust you yet, but we’re good”. So I took him up on his offer and we shared a breakfast of champions 🤣🤣 Moral of the story is communication with your dog.
