Four the Love of Paws

Four the Love of Paws STANDING FOR ANIMALS THAT CAN NOT SPEAK AND STAND FOR THEIRSELVES Four the LOVE of PAWS was founded in 2010. easy to find them , Tougher to find new homes.

Living in a rural area of Nashville it was the place to dump unwanted dogs, So I started Picking them up and hoping to save them and find new homes. Through the city streets my dogs have been found running down busy roads, dump on side road like trash. Battered and Bruised, starved to their bones and hit by cars- These animals left feeling unwanted and unloved- It just became a mission. Saving

dogs and giving the best life ever has been very rewarding to say the least and breaking the bank for the little luxuries in life a person wants. But you know, I made a commitment to these animals when I stopped to coax them to my car- now some cam very willingly like finally someone stopped to get me:) and some were not so easy and a bit scary because I did not know their demeanor- But I tell you regardless If I stop I already made it a commitment to love them and give them a better life

I even stopped the entire intersection of Bell Road and Nolensville Road in my skirt and heels and climb under someone's car to save a kitten that no one and I MEAN NO ONE would stop for! but the funniest of the stories is Baby Puppy- this was a brown husky and walked very tall- One morning my husband and I was running through the neighborhood and out of no where came a husky with a collar and part of a leash. so we continued to run and he continued to follow right at our heels- it was cute and funny- we turned around so maybe he would go back to where he came from or hoped that someone would call his name- well long story short that dog ran all they way home with us LOL- so we put him in a kennel put up signs and no one called.... so Baby Puppy became ours for a few years- he was so funny and loved to run this 7 acres like it was paradise. We wound up giving Baby Puppy to a guy that my husband served with in Iraq and this dog is carried from this guys bed to the couch and fed his breakfast on the couch every morning- THIS WAS A HAPPY ENDING :)

For 8 years I have cared for over 30 dogs from the streets. Currently we have 18 dogs that live with us from Pit bulls to a little handicapped min pin to a RAT TERRORIST LOL Lil Chi Chi Britches :) :)

Every penny to care for these little ones has been 100% my expense out of pocket. Yearly vet visits for heartworms, rabies. Purchasing Kennels, fencing and finally enough money saved to fence in 7 acres of land. It is worth it,

Who in the world gets a singing audience every time you come home- well I do and it is the best ever!! Food alone cost out of pocked over $800 per month, not to mention the treats and toys. Yearly care from the Vet runs about $1800.00

the other expense or flea and heartworm medicine, shampoo, baby pools- Thank goodness I play tennis because we have lots of balls and are willing to donate to anyone else saving puppies:)

I am on a mutual journey with all the folks who rescue dogs, cats and wildlife to educate and find the forever loving homes for each and every lost or thrown away like garbage animals. We are going to start a go fund me account and I do hope that you will help us continue this journey if it is $1.00 per month you would like to donate or $25.00 you would like to donate every penny is a write off for you. God Bless our Animals! and May God Bless you!
