Beautiful Bianca ❤️

We hope you had an amazing week. Ours was kinda blah 😐 I've been sick, hurt back and all. I've got something going on that I can't figure out. I hurt constantly under my left ribs. My P*P says there's nothing there 🤷‍♀️

Anywho, we need to get back at trying to reach our three thousand dollar match. We had raised right at 1k when I started not feeling well and gave up. We have now used all of our available funds for feed. Everyone is happy, but they won't be for long if we don't get to getting more feed 🤪

Any amount is a blessing. We are grateful for your support and dedication to helping us and our pigs family.

Happy Friday from Clancy 🤎

We have an exciting announcement, thanks to Miss Susan (not me 😂) we have an outstanding offer to match three thousand dollars.

We haven't had an offer like this in a while. So we really need your help to ensure we reach the goal.

I am sorry for my temporary hiatus. We have just had some personal things going on with health and other things. As far as my health update, my biopsy was negative for malignancy 🙌
It turns out it was histoplasmosis, a fungal infection in my lungs and lymph nodes. It made me feel rather gross to think about, but I am grateful for that diagnosis and not a different outcome.

All of the pigs are well and doing great! They are enjoying the cooler temperatures, as am I. We need help to feed them though, monetarily.

We are on the way to pick up one ton now and that's all the funding we have left. So, anything you can spare we would be grateful. One ton is $350 and we need the funds for several. And, on top of that, our feed delivery vehicle's payment is due again in another week.

Please help how you can so we can keep these babies fed 🐽

Chopper here 😊

We just wanted to Thank you all for your support and encouragement. We have been going nine years strong, but it's getting harder 😪

Important right now is our vehicle that we must use to deliver feed to the different areas payment is due. I cannot wait until it is completely paid off.

$498.74 is what is due. Any amount is helpful.

Feed pick up done yesterday. We purchase four of these every week. This year we have asked for minimal help (our choice), but it's getting harder. We need help to ensure our standards stay the same.

Update on health. I saw a pulmonologist on Monday. I am scheduled for a lung biopsy next week. We are hoping it is nothing, but being proactive instead of taking the watch and wait approach.

This photo is of my daughter and I over the weekend. The two of us and our husband's went to a concert and had so much fun. I did realize that I am too old for that stuff anymore 😅

On Tuesday I had a CT scan for confirmation of a lung nodule after it being seen on X-ray last week. The next steps are a PET scan and biopsy. From there, I don't know.

What this means for the pigs right this minute is that my husband will have to be taking some unusual time off of work to make sure they get fed and go with me to appointments, etc... with that being said, we will need more help than usual and I'm sorry.

Eleven years ago I married my best friend. I often wonder if he would have gone through with it if he knew then what he knows now. He honestly puts up with a lot and is the most hard working man I know. That's truly all he ever does away from here and the very little he's home.

He's been really picking up the slack lately with some health issues I've been having. I definitely don't give him enough credit.

Happy Anniversary to us. Without the us, Gracie's Acres wouldn't exist. Help us celebrate our special day with an 1️⃣1️⃣ 💲 contribution. Every penny matters to help us keep everyone fed and healthy.

Well, since I just NOW realized that it's my husband's Birthday 😳😭🥴😱😩....

Help me wish him a wonderful Birthday by donating to the pigs so he doesn't have to work as hard 🤣

He's 45 today.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I haven't been feeling great, and it's been a challenge to find the energy to post. I've been struggling with headaches and other health issues, which have made it hard for me to feel inspired and positive.

The competition on social media has also been weighing on me. It feels like our work with pigs isn't as valued as it used to be, because we are no longer accepting intakes. It's tough to keep up with the constant pressure to post and compete for attention. It all feels a bit overwhelming at the moment.

Even though our property is filled with hundreds of pigs that we did take in, It's like we just don't exist anymore sometimes. It makes me sad for the pigs honestly. I haven't asked as much for assistance lately because we have had the extra funds. Now we don't and we need help to make sure everyone gets to eat. We don't need bells and whistles. They just have to eat.

Our monthly feed bill is $5800.

Mia was one of our very first rescues back in twenty-fourteen. Today she got her very first hoof trim (because she hasn't needed it) and likely her last because she's 14 years old. Her dew claws needed a trim today.

Sadly, many of our pigs will depart over the next few years. All I can hope for is that they felt nothing but love and received everything they ever wanted in my care.

You have made the majority of that happen. Without your support we would not be where we are today. I can't Thank you enough for the outpouring of love over the last twenty for hours.

If you still would like to make a contribution we would greatly appreciate it. You can also make a commitment to sponsor Miss Mia in her final
years🐽

We are currently experiencing a difficult time due to the loss of two beloved pigs, Boo and Maxwell. I personally am going through a down in the dumps phase and these losses haven't helped.

The financial burden of caring for our animals has been challenging and I had to charge feed for the first time since January. Donations have drastically declined anyway, but I just haven't felt like asking. Weird, I know. I also feel like it's annoying to constantly ask. We have been covering what we can with our personal funds just to not have to ask constantly. It costs two-hundred dollars per day to feed here and our most recent water bill was over five hundred dollars. Obviously, the majority of that goes to the rescue to ensure they have access to fresh water and mud holes for keeping cool.

I had to get my teeth fixed to the tune of almost four grand so we personally just didn't have it. Charging isn't fun because of course I owe that now on top of having to come up with the funds for daily care.

We have the hoof trimmer coming tomorrow, so that is additional needed funds.

Our pigs are our top priority, but we just can't do it alone. We have hung on for dear life for nine years. Nearly every person who has asked us to take a pig either through surrender of their own or a message or tag about a situation has dumped us. The pigs are still here, but the help and support is not. Every volunteer we have had either through helping with fundraising or physical help from time to time has dumped us. I have very little family and almost zero friends. It's depressing.

Physical help is neither here nor there. I got this for as long as I am able. The pigs have to eat and we do what we can on our own. We just need help.

It has been nearly two months since Sassy was adopted. She and Olive are inseparable besties now. Sassy was with us for five years before being adopted and we couldn't be happier for her 💛

We also have four pigs going back home in the next couple of weeks who have been with us for three years while their mom had some personal issues going on. We are happy for them that they will get to spend the remainder of their lives with their family.

It's time to fill up our feed fund again. With your help, our animals will get to enjoy what they love the most for another week. Food is their favorite, so let's keep them happy and healthy 😊

We spend $1462.40 each and every week. We also just had an over $500 water bill we could use help with 😏 Help us reach our goal 👏

🥳your comments help our posts get seen🥳

Bentley celebrated his ninth birthday yesterday with cupcakes brought home by his dad after a long day of work. Surrendered to us due to aggression, Bentley has been part of our family for nearly a year. Despite his occasional outbursts, we love him just the same.

You can still help Bentley celebrate today by making a contribution in his name.

Y'all have been lifesavers, literally. We have been able to be a safe haven for pigs for going on nine years now. With your help, we have been able to save over two thousand pigs. That number includes our current residents, the residents who have sadly passed on and all of our adoptees.

Pretty amazing, right?

Pigs like Bentley would not have had a safe place to go, if it weren't for your support and kindness.

We are constantly trying to keep all of the bellies full. I realize sometimes you may just not have it to give and sometimes it's the algorithm and you simply don't see the need.

We have an easy way to combat the latter. When you sign up for a monthly sponsorship, it's automatic. This ensures that your donation reaches us every single month. No having to remember, no algorithm in the way, just one happy pig every single month. We ask for twenty-five a month, but it truly can be any amount.

If you would like to make a pig smile like this every month, become a monthly sponsor.

Last Thursday, we lost a precious member of our family. Big in size and heart, Boo was one of our largest and best boys. With zero qualms, I jumped right into the trailer upon his arrival. He was intact and severely malnourished, yet still huge compared to our mostly little pig rescue. Only two of our boys have since caught up to him to date.

To our knowledge, Boo was around nine or ten years old, and we had the privilege of sharing six incredible years with him. He will be sorely missed for years to come.

If you are able, make a contribution in honor of Boo today. Our feed fund is low and it would make a huge difference.
