Hillsboro Animal Hospital is the premier animal clinic in Nashville. We can't wait to meet you! We are proud to be going green in Green Hills.

l, and Dr. Selene Reeves. We have a full staff of 60 employees including licensed technicians, assistants and receptionists. The facility includes a surgery suite with ECG, pulse-ox and blood pressure monitoring, ultrasound and endoscopy, digital X-ray, a closely supervised critical care area, oxygen cages, a well-stocked pharmacy, and separate dog and cat rooms. We have a dental X-ray machine that allows us to see above the gum line and provide better management of oral health. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We perform cancer treatments, soft tissue, orthopedic and laser surgeries and laparotomy procedures. We have also have a Class IV therapy laser for treating patients with arthritis, pain management, neurologic disorders and post-operative recovery. We have installed all new compact-flourescent lighting, energy-efficient HVAC system, eco-resin materials and used low-VOC paints in our hospital. We also recycle all cardboard, ink, aluminum and paper products. We are paper-lite and are working towards becoming totally paper-less. We gladly take clients on tours and explain the many services we offer.

Clover is a charming 4-year-old female cat who loves spending time with her human family—she's affectionate with both children and adults. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She enjoys playing with her feline friends and has a gentle, loving nature. However, Clover has a bit of a problem with dogs and would be happiest in a home without one.

As we continue to monitor the forecast for Friday and Saturday of this week, we are aware of the possibility of severe weather. This may affect our open hours, and there is a possibility of temporary closure.

• If your pet is in need of any medication or food refills before Friday, please get those requests in as soon as possible to give our team enough time to fill these medications.
• If in the event of closure, we will be in contact with anyone who has a scheduled appointment.

Meet the doctors: Dr. Alexis Garbarino ✨

I am in fact a Nashvillian transplant! I graduated from St. George’s University, finished clinical year at the University of Tennessee (go Vols), and decided to pursue a one-year small animal rotating internship here locally. During my internship, I found that my favorite part of veterinary medicine is treating hospitalized in-patients. It’s often times very rewarding being able to see a very sick lateral recumbent patient come in and be able to walk out our doors a few days later wagging its tail. Being a voice for the voiceless is what keeps me coming into work each day. In my free time, I love trying new restaurants/live music joints, getting outside, and being on the water! Everyone say hello to this handsome fella, Mason! He came into our clinic this past August emaciated and had a belly full of fluid. Mason has been fighting CHF secondary to a very bad case of Heartworm Disease. So if you hear us recommending your fur babies be on monthly prevention this is exactly why! Andddd long story short, he is safe now, doing phenomenal, and has been my foster fail :))

Meet the doctors: Dr. Madeline Williams ✨

Dr. Williams grew up with veterinary medicine in her blood! She decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a veterinarian, as her passion for helping animals has always been a huge part of her life. She’s not only an animal person, but a people person. She thrives on building close relationships with both her clients and her patients. One area of vet med that she finds rewarding is Dentistry. She loves to watch patients return back to their happy selves after treating their dental pain! In her spare time, she loves to cook new recipes and travel, along with planning her wedding (which is in just 2 weeks!!!)

Meet the doctors: Dr. Nicky Guglielmi (pronounced gool ‘yell me) ✨

Dr. Guglielmi was born and raised in Nashville and obtained her bachelor in Animal Sciences at Middle Tennessee State University followed by her doctorate in veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee.

She is passionate about client communication and education, and is Fear Free™️ certified. While she loves all areas of veterinary medicine, her favorites are ophthalmology, nutrition, and internal medicine.

In her free time Dr. Guglielmi enjoys exploring the outdoors with her two labs Baldo and Bibby, practicing yoga, and trying new restaurants in town.
