Good morning Facebook followers and Saint Bernard enthusiasts. It has been brought to our attention that other “breeders” have been taking our verbiage and pictures, as well as other breeders information and using them as their own in hopes to scam/gain profit from those who are looking for their newest addition to their family. As we have been a reputable breeder since 2020, this has upset us and many other Saint Bernard owners.
Examples of these scam artists are listed in our comments page.
With that being said, Bender Bernie’s will be rebranding itself to Emerald Coast Saints and will be water marking all pictures moving forward.
Before you start searching for your new Saint, we want to educate all Saint Bernard lovers who are looking for their new addition to the family before purchasing, of the following:
1. What is the breeders experience level?
2. Check the ACK website. All dogs are required to be DNA tested should they have more than 1 litter.
3. What information does the breeder have about the puppies parents?
4. Are the puppies up to date on their vaccinations?
5. Are the puppies socialized? If so, how?
6. When will you be able to bring home your puppy?
7. Does the puppy have a contract that includes a health guarantee?
8. Will you receive assistance from the breeder after taking the puppy home?
9. What requirements do the breeders have for potential puppy buyers?
As our puppies are loved dearly and are an extension of our family, included in our puppy contract states that if any puppy owner can no longer care for their puppy, we, as a breeder, have first rights of adopting the puppy.
We want this information to be known by all prior , current, and future puppy owners to prevent any sort of scam happening to them and to ensure that they will be receiving a healthy puppy. More information can be found on the AKC website.
AKC.org offers information on dog breeds, dog ownership, dog training, health, nutrition, exercise & grooming, registering your dog, AKC competition events and affiliated clubs to help you discover more things to enjoy with your dog.
