🎆 Fireworks Safety Reminder 🎆
We’d like to remind guests that personal fireworks are strictly prohibited on zoo grounds.

That includes sparklers, Roman candles, and especially the "Freedom Fountains" someone duct-taped to the tortoise enclosure.

He’s 94 years old.
He did not enjoy it.
And now he only moves in reverse.

We’ve increased patrols, reviewed footage, and are offering a free jerky sampler to anyone who can identify the individual in the American flag poncho holding what appeared to be a lit barbecue lighter and a dream.

Celebrate safely.
Animals are for tasting, not terrifying.

🌀🍬 Say hello to Corbin Lint — our visionary in residence, certified food-safe sugar sculptor, and suspected part-time time traveler. Each week, Corbin transforms 600 pounds of molten sugar and an unregulated microdose into towering, translucent nightmares of edible art.

His latest creation? A 9-foot swirling Technicolor cephalopod named “Drizzle the Observer,” currently overseeing dessert at our Expedition Café. It took 17 hours, 3 burns, and one extremely vivid conversation with a ficus to complete.
