NEWBIE ALERT!!✨

Meet Dobby! This sweet boy was left abandoned in an apartment by his family and taken in by animal control! He’s coming to us today and will start his vetting and get settled into foster care. Dobby is a 8 year old Pekinese. He is under weight, has some flea dermatitis and some matting but all of that is about to change. His foster will have him looking and feeling good in no time. As we get more pics and info we will update. Keep checking back on the progress of this sweet boy.

Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.

All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you!

MAY NEEDS OUR HELP!

Poor, sweet May has probably never seen better days. She’s in a rural part of Alabama where unfortunately dogs can be overlooked and discarded. Now she is at a county shelter where she will be euthanized if she can’t find someone to help her.

The Mylo Foundation wants to help May. We want to give her the love and care she deserves and provide her with many better days. All she needs is a foster or adopter to give her a safe place to stay.

May is very sweet. She is dog and people friendly. She hasn’t been tested with cats. She appears to be healthy except for general neglect. The Mylo Foundation will provide her initial vet care.
