We were recently nominated for Centenary University’s 30 under 30 award!🎊

I was beyond honored to have the opportunity to return to my Alma Mater and accept this award. Words cannot begin to describe how proud I am of the business that we have grown. Without our amazing clients and support system, it wouldn’t be what it is today. It truly takes a village.

So here’s to the people that have been a part of this journey! Thank you all for allowing me to continue doing what I love every day while prioritizing education, good ethics, and advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves. I appreciate each and every one of you so very much!💛

🍁 FALLing into a safe season change 🍁

As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant colors, it’s important to be aware of how fall can impact your horse’s health.

🌾 **Pasture Management**: The cooler fall temperatures can cause certain grasses to accumulate sugars, increasing the risk of laminitis. Monitor your horse’s grazing time and consider using a grazing muzzle if necessary.

🍂 **Leaves and Acorns**: Fallen leaves(especially Red Maple leaves) and acorns may be tempting snacks for your horse, but they can be harmful if ingested in large quantities. Keep pastures clean and free of potential toxins.

🌧️ **Weather Changes**: Rapid shifts in weather, from warm days to chilly nights, can stress your horse’s metabolism. Ensure they have access to shelter and consider using blankets to keep them warm.
It’s also important to monitor your horse for signs of colic with drastic changes in temperature.

👩‍⚕️ **Regular Hoof Care**: Fall is an excellent time for a thorough hoof check. Regular trimming and monitoring can help prevent laminitis or detect it early.

🍂 **Nutrition Check**: Evaluate your horse’s diet to match the changing season. Adjust their feed, ensuring they get the right balance of nutrients to support their energy needs.

💉**Vet Check**: Schedule a fall vet check to update vaccinations, deworming, and dental care. A healthy horse is better equipped to handle seasonal challenges.
