As many of you know, this year was a tough one for me when it came to my personal life. 2024 will always be the year we lost Wilson.
This year was full of heartbreak. But you know what else it was full of?
Healing, growth, new experiences, and an unbelievable support system.
2024 has shown me how many incredible people I have in my life. My clients have shown me such grace and kindness as I was dealing with our loss. My friends and family showed up for me in ways that I never could’ve imagined. And my business continued to thrive despite what was going on at home.
I truly don’t have the words to express how unbelievably grateful I am for this life I get to live and the people & animals I get to surround myself with each and every day.
I hope to have many more years of this. Cheers to 2025!🥂💛🎉

Not everything going on with your horse can be seen. Beneath the surface, Equine Bodyworkers are feeling for the 4 T’s:
1. **Tone:** The firmness or softness of the muscle to identify tension, relaxation, or any abnormalities in muscle tightness.
2. **Texture:** Irregularities, such as knots, trigger points, scar tissue, or adhesions. Variations in muscle texture can indicate areas of concern.
3. **Temperature:** Elevated warmth in a specific region may point to localized inflammation or recent trauma.
4. **Tenderness:** Tenderness or discomfort in a particular area when palpated can signal pain or sensitivity, guiding the bodyworker to focus on those areas.
Equine Bodyworkers are trained to develop a feel for what is normal & abnormal in your horse’s muscles, even when it can’t be seen.

Let’s talk about externships…
Going to a course doesn’t mean you’ll absorb everything you’re learning and it certainly doesn’t mean you’ll retain it long term.
What I love about the @equinologyinc & @equilearninstitute courses is they include a 6 month long externship at the end of each course. This ensures you will go home and go over the material MANY times until you’re comfortable with it and you have a deep understanding of it all. You will then have to demonstrate your comprehension of the material to the instructors in order to pass and earn a certificate of achievement.
These externships are unbelievably extensive and are meant to challenge you.
The externships are where the revelations truly begin.
Its all a part of the journey ☺️

Did you know that it’s rare to see movement through the limbs during a PEMF session?🤔
This is because the limbs don’t carry quite as much tissue as the rest of the body. A horse’s muscling ends before the lower limb.
In rare cases, you will see movement despite this. This is typically due to a more extreme sensitivity and/or inflammation.
