Long walks in nature are so good for dogs to decompress and relax. And for people, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ We do nature outings frequently with any dogs in our care.

Koufax in a short training clip to learn some foundations to use his nose and โ€œhuntโ€. This helps him learn the basics of what is needed before heโ€™d move along as a detection, nosework, or tracking dog.

One of of the coolest dogs to train! Izzy went from being chaotic, reactive, and having no foundation or obedience. She learned quickly how enjoyable it is to be inside, hanging out with the humans. But she had to learn to be well-mannered once she left the shelter environment. ๐Ÿพ We love happy endings!

Worked with Oreo on longer duration stays. Oreo came to the shelter and was only a lapdog with no obedience. Sheโ€™s going back home with a little bit more under her belt to show off to her family! This is with distractions of other dogs at the dog park and people around. She normally would run from person to person and want to greet everybody. ๐Ÿพ

Quick video of another shelter dog Iโ€™ve been working with. Red had no obedience or leash work, LOVES to play with other dogs, and run to every person he sees. In this video, youโ€™ll hear and see other dogs present in each clip. He has learned to work through distractions and will continue to excel with the right adopter. Heโ€™s turned out to be a sharp pup! If my feed bill wasnโ€™t sky high, Iโ€™d consider adopting him myself for a little sport dog. โ™ป๏ธ๐Ÿพ
