About Us

Hi, I’m Nita Diaz and have been heavily involved in the sport of dog agility since 1992. Besides competing with my own dogs I have judged for three different organizations and am currently a Masters judge for United States Dog Agility Association. Throughout the years I have observed thousands of performance dogs from all over the world and have witnessed many spectacular dogs performing at a high level. In the back of my mind I always had an interest in dog breeding for a performance dog but never found a dog that met my very picky criteria. Not only must the dog have near perfect structure and enthusiastic drive, but have a flawless temperament when it comes to people and other dogs, have an ‘off’ switch when not working to be a suitable house dog, and of course be healthy and not carry any genetic diseases. Needless to say it is very hard to find dogs that meet all this criteria, but a few years ago I was lucky enough to pick out a puppy that not only meets my criteria, but exceeds it! Swizzle is a dream dog, she loves to work, is super fast and smart, has excellent structure and a wonderful temperament. She will be selectively bred in the upcoming years to hopefully produce some truly wonderful BlackFire Performance Pups!
