As we look back on 2024 we remember those we’ve welcomed to the farm - and also those we’ve lost.

Please take a moment to remember our beloved lesson horse Betty, & Brennan the goat.

We welcomed baby Clay, and Xena, goats Dale, Brennan, & Brenna, and barn kitties wreckers & checkers!

A vocal roll, after a great morning ride! I love seeing our senior horses thriving! 🫶🏻

Why horses roll:

Coat maintenance: Rolling in dust or mud helps remove loose hairs, dry wet coats, and can act as a natural insect repellent.

Temperature regulation: Rolling in dirt can help cool a horse down after exercise.

Itchy relief: Horses may roll to scratch hard-to-reach areas on their body.

Pleasure: Just like humans, horses may roll simply because it feels good.

Chiropractic: self adjustment!

Our weanling turns into a yearling on New Year's Day! 🎂

Weanling = young animal that has been
weaned from its mother's milk and is now eating solid food independently.

Yearling = A young horse that is between one
and two years old. Yearlings are similar to early adolescents in their development and are not fully physically mature

Today we gifted 9 private lessons thanks to the generosity of my followers! Totaling $450 to 3 riders in need. 🙌🏻

Huge thanks to those whom donated!!! We are building up confidence in so many ways!

Today Zippy’s family donated 4 riding lessons to a new rider who could benefit from the self confidence horses can teach.

**Saint’s family is inspired by Zippys! They just donated two more!!
