Instructor & owner Megan has been riding horses since she was 10, and decided to finally pursue her dream of teaching others to ride in 2016. MML Equine, LLC. offers lessons on two reliable, safe lesson horses or you can ride your own horse. Megan specializes in teaching beginners (children and adults) in English and Western. She can also provide lessons to riders that are new to dressage and/or j
umping. Megan earned an elementary education degree from UW-River Falls in 2006, and has 10 years of experience as an elementary teacher in the Fox Valley. In college Megan rode on UW-River Fall's IHSA team, and competed in Huntseat On the Flat and Over Fences. Both at IHSA shows and in college equine courses, Megan had the opportunity to ride a variety of breeds of horses with many different temperaments and levels of training. Megan has experience coaching and teaching fellow riders how to be successful partners with their horses. Megan has shown her own horses in open pleasure shows, dressage, local hunter/jumper and eventing. In dressage Megan is currently working on earning her Bronze medal by competing at third level. Megan regularity took dressage lessons and showed up until 2012, when competing took a backseat to starting her family. Now that she is the mother of two handsome little boys, Megan is focusing on her equestrian goals and eager to help you achieve your goals with horses as well.
