Clark County Humane Society, Wisconsin CCHS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and adoption of cats and dogs. We assist the lost, surrendered, unwanted and unloved pets of the area.

Barkley was sadly abandoned on Hwy 73 with 9 other dogs, but he was given a second chance when adopted by a wonderful man. Unfortunately, Barkley has had a few seizures, and the man made the heart-wrenching decision to return him to Clark County Humane Society, knowing he couldn’t give Barkley the care he needed. Giving Tuesday at CCHS!

Toby was able to get his drainage tubes out last night! He's a tough little guy and we're so grateful that he is still with us!

Looking for a way to give back or get involved in the new year? Our cats would appreciate if you'd consider choosing them as a way to donate your time. They could use someone to come and care for them one Friday a month from 8am to noon (if 7am to 11am works better that's ok too). They need some TLC which would include feeding, watering and cleaning litter boxes & their space. Oh and of course some snuggles, cuddles, pets and playing. If you are interested in lending your helping hand to them, they'd be SO grateful. Please contact April at [email protected] if you are interested.

Our kennels are full! If you've been looking to adopt, now is the time to stop in and meet are dogs! We have 64 waiting for a home of their own. Any dog over 6 months in age also goes home with a 6 month supply of Nexgard Plus! We're working on getting pictures of all the new arrivals and they'll be posted to our website once we have them taken. We are open from 12 - 3 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Come in and see us!
