After much consideration I have decided to close up my shop. I am becoming more busy running kids around and attending their events, and with a job switch I have plenty to keep me busy! I sincerely appreciate all of the clients I have worked with over the years and I hope you are able to find a new shop to take care of your pets. I don’t know of anyone local that does grooming, but I know there is a shop in Elgin, Orchard, O’Neill, and several in Norfolk. Anyone that already had an appointment on the books I will honor that appointment if you want to keep it, but totally understand if you want to find someone new to secure a spot.

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! I am going to start back grooming this week. All of the appointments this week are full with appointments that I had to cancel when the baby arrived early, but I have open appointments next week. If you are needing an appointment send me a message or comment here and I will send you the available appointment times. Help me to get the word out by commenting your initials if you have seen the post but don’t need an appointment right now. Thank you!

It is likely that I will not be grooming the entire month of June and there are just a few open spots left in May. So if u want an appointment before July you may want to hop in now and reserve one of those spots. Thank you!

It's that time of year.....If you don't have your dog on year round flea & tick prevention it is time to start up again. For those of you needing an appointment, I just opened up some evening weekday appointments for the rest of this month and May. Jump on and schedule an appointment if you are in need or send me a message. If you have an appointment scheduled farther out, but would like one of these sooner appointments schedule a new one and I will remove the other one.

Important Information regarding Neligh Dog Grooming.
1. I work full time for ESU8 as a technology technician. This is a side business I run from my home so appointments slots are in the evenings or on the weekends.
2. The quickest way to schedule an appointment is to use the book now button at the top of my page or on my website. If this is not a good option for you or you need more info the second best way to reach me is by PM or text. You can call as well but I promise it will be a lengthy amount of time before I get back to you if you choose this method. I have 3 boys to raise as well and I respond to messages early mornings and late evenings while they are asleep and outside of acceptable phone call hours.
3. I have a Veterinary Technician Degree and have been grooming since 2005 in vet clinics and from my home.
4. I will treat your dog as if they were my own and work hard to make sure your dog has a positive experience while in my shop.
5. If I haven’t groomed your dog before or you want a new cut, pictures are extremely helpful. Please remember the ability to do many styles depends on the condition of your dog’s coat, and if they are matted a shave down maybe required. **I will discuss this with you before proceeding**
6. I totally understand that things happen or come up and you may not be able to keep an appointment. Please let me know that you can’t make it so I can attempt to fill the spot even if it is the day of. I often have several people on the waiting list for an earlier appointment if one opens up and can generally fill the spot. No shows are not acceptable and anything after the first time will require payment for the no show before the appointment can be rescheduled. I schedule appointments back to back in order to get the most appointments in a day as possible for my customers so please be considerate of your time slot and those after you.
7. My software will send a confirmation once your requested appointment is accepted and a reminder the day before your appointment.
8. Aggressive dogs will be muzzled for their protection and mine. The equipment I use is extremely sharp and can be dangerous for the dog and myself in these types of situations. An up charge may be added if the appointment takes longer than usual because of this.
9. Please keep your dog on flea and tick preventatives to help keep my shop, pets and other clients from exposure. If fleas are found an additional charge for flea bath and cleaning of the shop will be added.
10. Start your puppies young! Grooming introduces your pup to new places, sounds, and equipment which can be scary for them. Although they may not need a full groom until 6-12 months they can be introduced to the tools and process from the time you get them and will make them much more comfortable when it is time for their full groom.
