Earlier today - I looked out my window and I saw a couple and their small child at my gate (so they had stepped onto my property) petting and feeding Escudo (who the heck knows what...) through the fence. I could tell by everyone's body language they'd been at it a while.

I flew out the front door, asked them to stop immediately and they looked at me standing there barefoot in my PJ's, like I had two heads. When I asked them why they thought it was OK to do this, they did graciously apologize, but still clearly were confused as to why I was upset and had no idea why this was such a boundary violation.

To them it was just a fun family experience. Why was this crazy looking lady ( I really was...) so upset?

This is a pervasive issue most horse owners face, and people tend to not understand, or get upset when asked not to feed. And even more stunning is when they completely ignore "please don't feed" signs.

I wanted to explain why most horse owners don't want strangers feeding their horses without permission. Apologies for the length but I'm trying to cover as many "ya but's" as possible.

It's not because we're mean. It's not because we want to deprive your child of a life experience (though we don't owe you that....) It's not because we're selfish and don't want to share. It's not because we don't want you to have fun. It's not because we don't want our horses to enjoy some affection and interaction.

T&M Trail Rides will be closed from
August 6th through August 16th during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. I take the horses to pasture and let them rest to be ready for the rest of the season. During this time No Messages, Emails, phone calls or text will be answered.
We hope to see y’all for next part of the season. And the ones we have seen already this year..Thank you for coming and spending a bit of time of your vacation with us. 🤠

Due to the upcoming predicted Snow Storm headed our way we will be closing for the year.
I want to Thank All my Customers new and repeat who came out this year. It was a Great Year and all Thanks to all of you!
Also want to thank all my Staff/Guides....Kaylee, Cassidy, Cayden, Chloe, Clay,Trinity, Wyatt, Brooke & Kim...with out y’all it wouldn’t be possible to provide the service I want to provide to my guest...THANKS I love you all🥰❤️

Due to the recent snow we received we will be closed till Friday, September 11th. It has left our trails unsafe with very muddy trails and numerous tree branches have fallen so this will allow us time to clean up the trails and a chance to dry out a bit.
