Back in the saddle. I’m doing much better. First ride off the track on 5 year old Tap Me A Text. Something very exhilarating about cantering a fresh off the track racehorse. I do love this breed!!

The October Spooktacular Show was a huge success!!! We had haunted trail class, horsemanship and costume showmanship. Huge thank you to my husband, Rusty, for putting up with all my crazy ideas and helping me to see them into reality and for coming up with some pretty great ideas of his own!! Great job everyone! Special congratulations to our buckle winner Lola, amazing job!

It is obstacle course week! And a PSA, there is a reason I cancel lessons when storms are predicted. For those of you that have never had the experience of being in the arena when it is storming, it is deafening. You can’t hear me so it isn’t much of a lesson. Then last year a group of lesson people had the distinct pleasure of being in the arena when lightning struck about 75 feet from the arena. That is when we changed the policy. Volume up, it isn’t even raining that hard yet in this video. #dollarcreekstables #noridinginstorms
