So Miss Minnie has been a solid beginner lesson pony walk, trot. However, we wanted to see if she was also safe for beginners to canter. So we had one of our experienced girls, Lola, canter her last night and it turned into Minnie showing us that she probably used to be a playday pony!! Super fun to canter, but probably not for beginners with her 19.8 second barrel run!

Spectacular 7th annual boarder Christmas party last night!! We definitely missed those that couldn’t attend, but we had a great time with everyone! There was an apple flavored stall Lick-it that all the kids had to test out for authenticity! It passed!

In light of the recent news about the EHV outbreak, we will be restricting all movement in and out of our facilities of all horses until further notice. The health and safety of our horses comes first and we feel this is in their best interest. Those owners that have horses at home are asked to implement additional bio security measures such as changing clothes, shoes and washing hands before coming out. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.

Five and a half years. And this girl has come so far. Moved mountains in her riding abilities. So last night, for some nostalgia, she rode the first horse she rode when she started here. Waldo, our blind horse, even blind he showed her who she could be. And last night he showed her how far she has come and just how fancy broke he really is !
