This is Rooibos our last available "Warm Beverage" standard poodle puppy from our Scout and Otto litter. He is sweet, smart, eager to learn, social, playful, cuddly, confident, and able to settle nicely. He is VERY food motivated. He has
a bit of a higher drive. He will excel with an outlet to challenge him and keep him active (i.e. going on lots of trips, a companion exercise pooch, agility, hunting, etc). However, he's still a poodle, so he also excels at frequent naps!
He's been getting some extra socialization and training since he can be our primary focus. This week he met some new dogs and chickens. He was very curious of the chickens, but minded his manners and disengaged when told. He's been learning so much! To do his business outside, sit, taking treats gently.
Here is his first kennel training session. He caught on so quickly! By the end of the training session he was choosing to go in on his own, showing mastery/understanding of the skill. He also learned to wait until released to leave the kennel.
