She’s been with me for two weeks now. She belongs to a friend and I’m just playing with her some.

The more I train dogs…I find having more success often comes to a number of factors. Some are in your control and some aren’t.
I get fast results because I often teach a number of commands at ONE time. This also helps to disguise repetition and keeps the dog more interested in me!
Angel
Here we are working on a few things with Angel.
1. Whistle recalls to heel
2. Straight line recalls. This will becoming more challenging as we add different items to go over and under. She is not allowed to go around. (This is for competition)
She has to understand that when she comes it’s needs to be thru, over, or under item in a straight line. Fun stuff for sure!

Playing with Ari who’s back with me for a couple of days.
His owner has opened his home business and has been going out of town for manually training.
I trained, Ari…maybe 7 months ago. He was a 6 month old puppy and each time he’s back I sharpen up
his obedience.

Ari back for a few days. (Board and review)
No practice, we went straight to Academy Sports and Hobby Lobby.
How owner has been doing a very good job keeping his training up.
Poppy
No training, but I wanted to show how much better this dog looks with training in our systems.
Poppy goes home today and most of her issues revolved around fear based aggression. She wanted zero to do with me day one.
Through our training she now trusts me, and I’ve been able to take her places such at tractor supply, Home Depot, academy sports, and the parks. The parks we were very specifically looking for other dogs to walk by as she’s a bit reactive.
Through being consistent within the training no matter what environment she was in…I have gotten the same results.
Confident dogs are always easier to train, but when I see a dog come out of their shell and start to become more confident it remains me why I got into this business.

This video is Max at his 3 week mark. In Lowe’s completely off leash.
You’ll see
1. A very good functional heel. This was very specific to what the owner wanted. As he’s on a lot of job sites.
2. Holding down
3. Place - on random objects like a cart with wood on it on wheels. I love going to Lowe’s for this specific reason! “Place” doesn’t mean just a bed. If you dial it in it can be whatever you want it to be.
4. A solid recall.

Poppy
