Injured cats still being found outside of Happy Cat Sanctuary. These cats are believed to be the ones considered the Friendlyโs who were living in Chrisโs home and in the outside area in front. We donโt know if these are some of the cats that Chris Arsenal was running in and out of trying to save. Paws of War and Strong Island Animal Rescue are searching the neighborhood door-to-door as we are finding some of them with not even enough energy to meow for help.

Lou almost didn't make it to being the amazing dog you see today because his life risked being cut short as a tiny pup - fighting to survive starvation and danger in the harsh desert conditions in the Middle East. He was rescued through our War-Torn Pups and Cats program when a U.S. soldier reached out for help to save his life because while they were unable to adopt him themselves, they knew he deserved a chance at a happy life in America. Thanks to everyone in our Paws of War community, Lou made it to safety Stateside, and he found a wonderful foster Mom who gave him all the love and care in the world. Sadly, she is now battling a serious medical condition and it is her only wish that this sweet boy find someone to love him when she can't.
Lou is a 4 year old handsome mix who thrives in a calm environment. He is loyal, smart, and he walks very well on a leash. His ideal placement is in a home without other pets or children (although he loves his foster Mom's 8-year-old grandson who visits). Lou would be perfect for someone with a quiet home - perhaps retired, who can give him the time and attention he deserves. He's a great dog if you have room in your heart. All you need to provide is a loving home, Paws of War will cover everything needed for this special boy along with our full support.
Thank you News12's Paws and Pals for featuring this special boy!

Paws of War is Still on Ground, Rescuing the Helpless
When the California wildfires forced families to evacuate with no time to spare, Cookie the cat was left behind, terrified and hiding. For days, Paws of War team member Niki joined Shyann Swisher and her team in a tireless search, determined to reunite Cookie with her mom.
After a week of searching, they finally heard a faint meow. Cookie was found wedged deep in a kitchen cabinet, terrified but alive. With quick thinking, Niki used sardines to coax her out, and the team successfully secured her in a carrier. She was then reunited with her mom, before being taken to Animal Wellness Center, where Dr. Annie Harvilicz provided the critical care Cookie desperately needed.
In moments of crisis, animals like Cookie need us the mostโand we will never stop answering the call. But we canโt do it without your support. Please donate today to help us continue rescuing and caring for animals in desperate need.๐พโค๏ธ
