🚨 Emergency Medical Help Needed for Baby Boom Boom 🐾💔

Yesterday, we took in a tiny kitten, just about 5 weeks old, who we’ve named Boom Boom. This sweet baby was attacked by something and is now fighting to recover from multiple injuries.

As soon as we got him, he went straight to the vet and was admitted. He has severe lacerations and trauma to one of his eyes. Our amazing vet, Katie, is doing everything she can to save his eye and stabilize him.

Despite everything he’s been through, Boom Boom is holding his own. He’s a tough little fighter, but he needs our help now more than ever.

Those of you who have followed us for a while may remember Kira. Kira was at ACCT Philly. Someone reported her as a wolf hybrid to the game commission. We pulled her, and with permission from the game commission were allowed to keep her in foster until her DNA test came back. Sadly, she came back as part wolf and either had to be euthanized or relocated out of state. The GC gave us time to secure placement out of state, and Kira has been safe at WOLF.

‼️ FOSTER NEEDED — URGENT! ‼️

Our sweet girl Willow has been with us long-term, and we are desperately in need of a new foster home for her.

Willow is a loving dog who just needs a little time to feel safe with new people—she can be a bit nervous at first, but once she warms up, she’s a total sweetheart. 💕

She would do best as the only dog in the home, or in a household willing to do a crate-and-rotate setup.

If you or someone you know is looking to adopt an only dog who will give all her love to her person, please reach out. Willow deserves a chance to thrive in a calm and supportive home.

☀️ Summer is still searching for her forever home! ☀️

Meet Summer, a sweet senior soul who joined PPR just over two months ago. She’s a 9–10-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing in at 17 lbs—the perfect little companion size!

Summer is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccines. Our vet says she’s in great health—with a healthy heart and sparkling teeth! 🦷💕

She’s p*e pad trained and also enjoys going outside. While she’s currently living peacefully with other foster dogs, she tends to do her own thing—calmly coexisting without much interaction.

Summer can be a little shy at first. It took her about a week to feel safe in her foster home, and she initially hid under the bed—but once she feels secure, she blossoms into a devoted shadow, following her foster mom everywhere. 🐾

She loves to lounge on the couch while her foster mom works from home, making her an ideal low-maintenance companion for someone looking for a mellow, loving pup.

Summer may take a little time to warm up, but when she does, you’ll see just how special she is. 💛 She’s ready to give her heart to someone patient and kind who will let her continue to blossom.

Donations needed!

We were asked to help with 24 hamsters! Unfortunately we do not have any hamster supplies. We took 12 of the hamsters today and will need to purchase supplies.

We can use fosters as well to continue helping.

Hi there
Meet Summer who is new to PPR. She came to us just a little over a month ago and she is now ready for adoption. She is a chihuahua mix who is approx 9-10 years old and weighs 17 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. Our vet said she is in great shape and healthy and her teeth look great She is p*e pad trained but does go outside as well She is the sweetest little girl. She does well with my foster dogs, she really doesn’t interact with them at this point but she hangs out with them. It took her about a week to be integrated and gain my trust. She spent the first few days hiding under the bed but she finally came around. She does get nervous meeting new people but eventually warms up to them.
She follows me everywhere. I work from home and she mostly hangs out on the couch just chilling. She will make a great addition to someone’s family. I just love her and I know you will too ❤️🐾
