🌸 Jojo Update 🌸

Sweet Jojo has had her testing, and it confirmed she has pituitary-dependent Cushing’s disease. 💔 This means she’ll need lifelong monthly medication to manage it.

The good news is she’s getting more comfortable each day in her foster home. She’s enjoying her food, soaking up pets, and finally beginning to feel safe. 🥰

Jojo is at the vet for the day for her Cushing’s testing. Please wish her well ❤️🐾

Look who’s up and about now. That’s right, Jojo.
Yesterday was the first day she really showed signs of feeling better. I set her up next to my desk down stairs and she stayed pretty alert most of the day hanging out with her foster brothers. I am so excited with her progress so far.
Tomorrow we go for our Cushing’s testing. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Jojo is making a little progress everyday. She loves being outside and is now spending time downstairs with her foster brothers. She really doesn’t have any interest in playing yet but she loves laying on my lap and being in the mix. She is still pretty lethargic and a bit wobbly when she walks. She has a good appetite and we are trying to build her strength up. She heads back to the vet on Thursday for her Cushing’s test. We are keeing our fingers crossed that comes back negative.
