🌸 Meet Jojo 🌸
Jojo is a senior sweetheart (about 12 years old) who has already endured so much, but she’s finally safe and getting the care she desperately needs. 💕
When Jojo came into our rescue, she was in heartbreaking condition:
🐾 A severe wound on her paw infested with maggots
🐾 Painful ear infections in both ears
🐾 Severe dental disease and heavy tartar buildup
🐾 Severely matted fur mixed with hardened debris and f***l material
🐾 Overgrown nails and hair loss across her torso
🐾 A tender, distended belly that causes her pain when touched
🐾 A grade 2–3 heart murmur
Despite everything, Jojo has shown us what a gentle, resilient soul she is. She’s already had her wounds and infections treated, and she is resting and healing in a loving foster home. She’s very sweet, enjoys being petted, did great on a 50-minute car ride, and is starting to enjoy her food again. 🥰
But Jojo’s journey is far from over. She still needs:
🔬 A Cushing’s test on 9/18/25
🦷 A much-needed dental and spay on 10/14/25
💊 Continued monitoring for her heart and bloodwork
Her vet bills are already adding up, and her upcoming procedures will be costly. As a senior girl, Jojo deserves every chance at comfort, health, and love in her golden years. 🌟
