I’ve been inconsistent about posting with our snow days and the holidays. Hopefully, we can get back on track this week!

What do you need on hand with bad weather coming in?

We recommend the following:
🦔 Hot Hands - enough to keep the babies warm for at least a week (roughly 20 per hedgehog - if they are good for 10 hours)
🦔 bottled water for a week - in case your water freezes
🦔 smaller container (can use your take home tote or go slightly bigger about 15 qt)— easier to maintain warmth in a smaller space
🦔 packing tape - to tape the hot hands on the bottom of the small tote. ** I always put ours inside under the bedding, but in this case, they will get bored in a smaller space and are more likely to start messing with the hot hands
🦔 cuddle sack - they will need out more with the smaller container
