Today Christmas came early for Sean. He got his dream pet, a Amilobe Panther Chameleon from Tree Hugger Chameleons, but we are stuck on names!

So excited to announce we will be holding the November 17th Expo at the old S&S Marine Building at 1407 Emery Crossing Road, Clarksville IN.

It's not as simple parking as the old venue, but I have faith our customers can figure it out! Please view the map below - customers follow the blue lines to 3 different parking areas and the footprints to the entrance!

After a month of stress and chaos we can breathe sweet relief to have a temporary landing place!

Our gorgeous Yuki isn’t sure if she wants me to leave them alone or babysit long term.
She huffed and puffed, and then she blasted out of the nest like her b***y was on fire to get to that food bowl. Poor girl looks so starved… 🤣

We currently have 7 babies in nests. They just turned 2 weeks old, so we have started handling them! The babies eyes will start opening over the next week, and their fur will start coming in.

Our waitlist members will be sent photos to choose from starting 11/20. We currently have 3 people on the list. They can then choose a baby, or they can choose to wait until the next round.

We plan to hold back at least 1 baby from this group (I’m trying for two). 😉

We should have at least 2 babies available still for adoption, but I doubt they will make it to an expo. If you for sure want a baby for December, we recommend jumping on the waitlist. We only have 2 spots available!

The girl below will most likely be staying with us! 💜

Our hearts are broken to announce that we’ve lost our sweet baby boy Sly. Our sweet Sly Guy started having difficulties this past weekend, and we knew yesterday our time with him was growing extremely short. Thank you to everyone who checked on him and loved him from a distance. Our special little guy will be greatly missed.

Due to the craziness of the holidays we black out certain days. This is for the safety of the axolotl.

The first blackout is from Nov 29th -Dec 9th.
We will ship from Dec 9th - 16th.
The second blackout is from Dec 17th - Jan 6th.

As parents we understand this doesn’t align with Santa’s schedule. Good news is we actually have an in with the big man!! He provides us with special letters addressed to your kiddo. Unfortunately Santa’s sleigh is too cold and bumpy for axolotls. Santa also allows us to utilize your Elf on a Shelf!! He also has agreed to deliver tank kits if you want to cycle your tank and then let your kiddo come choose an axolotl in January or February. Make sure Santa tells us as soon as possible if a tank kit is needed.

We are totally flexible and are willing to help make your holiday wishes come true!!

Not the uplifting Friday post I like to make, but…

We lost Ivy’s little nugget last night, and another female had a still birth. The stillbirth we will never know what happened. For Ivy’s little girl we definitely know one thing… Ivy needs a parenting class! 😭

In this situation, we typically will wait the normal amount of time and try again. For the stillbirth, we will do that, as there have never been complications before. For Ivy… we will wait a bit. IF we try her again, she will have the babies pulled and fostered this time. 💔
