Last week, we were visited by the engineering students at Ohio State University. They have been working on a coral conservation project in a tank in our greenhouse. By combining advanced 3D imaging and photogrammetric techniques, they are able to calculate coral calcification and growth rates in the wild. This makes it easier to assess and monitor these critical ecosystems.
