Anik and Sakari These sweet babies are two of the St. Bernard mix puppies and they LOVE the snow! Anik is more laid back and he really loves other dogs! Sakari is very sweet and loves to cuddle! They both do well with other dogs and kids. They like cats, but will chase them trying to get them to play. We’ve been waiting to post these giant babies for a couple extra weeks since we had to treat a minor fungal skin infection, but now that they’re done with their meds and healing well, IT’S TIME😍🐾 These guys will require: - Fenced yard OR property - Willingness to work with a trainer - Understanding that they will require regular grooming - must be willing to have gastropexy surgery at time of spay/neuter - As these are going to be extra large breed dogs the spay/neuter/gastropexy will not be included in their adoption and must be completed by a certain date that is non-negotiable: no matter what “your vet recommends”. - Please do not apply if you are not ready to take them home once you are approved ❌ No apartments or condos ❌ They will be at the adoption event on Sunday, February 2nd at Pet Supplies Plus in Clinton Twp!!!! Zelda the Warrior Princess: starving & needs funds for critical injuries

🚨EMERGENCY MEDICAL INTAKE 🚨⚠️ please donate if you can to help us save Zelda…she has been pushing through like a warrior & now she needs people to fight for her❗️When Zelda dragged herself into a stranger's garage, crying out in pain, it was clear she had been through unimaginable suffering but still her spirit remains unbroken.❗️ The finders searched for days for someone to take her in, and while her care will be costly, we couldn’t turn her away. Based on her injuries, it appears Zelda was first attacked by an animal, leaving deep puncture wounds on her back leg, followed by a more recent trauma where she was likely struck by a car. 😭💔 Her rear left leg is badly broken and deeply infected, with muscle loss so severe that her frail body barely weighs four pounds—heartbreakingly tiny for a cat over a year old.Zelda’s back hips tell the second part of her tragic story. Both are swollen and damaged, with fractures that click painfully with every attempt she makes to move. Her body bears every mark of her fight for survival, yet when we examined her, she purred through the pain, letting out only the occasional soft “ow.” 😭This little soul, who has endured so much, still holds on and deserves every chance to heal and live the safe, happy life she deserves.⚠️🆘 Zelda’s condition is critical, requiring emergency treatment to address her infections, extensive wounds, and severe injuries to her legs and hips. Beyond that, she also needs care for fleas, ear mites, roundworms, and painful urine scalding. Then she will need the basic care as well including FIV/FELV testing, spay, vaccines etc. But we believe in her strength and will do everything possible to keep her from any more suffering and bring her back to health.PLEASE, if you can, help us help Zelda. ❗️HELP 🎈🎁 For my birthday this year AS WELL as the 6 YEAR MARK of the rescue being open, I’m asking our followers to make a donation in order to help us pay down our vet bills. Even just $5 makes a huge difference 💛 I spent hours as a little girl drawing pictures of rescue/kennel set ups and plans. Running a rescue has LITERALLY always been a dream of mine. Im proud of what we’ve created with our rescue & I love everything we stand for. However, the last year has been hard. It’s really pushed my limits. I’m stressed😓💔. We’ve had issues with fosters. There are always more animals in need. There are always people blaming us for one thing or another. There are always people with opinions on how we “should” do things. There are always vet bills needing to be paid. There’s always a fundraiser to plan. This has been a hard year in rescue, and sometimes we wonder if we want to keep going. Out of everything, what is REALLY stressful and keeping me up at night is knowing that we owe the vet clinics that help us money. Money that just isn’t coming in. Donations are WAY down. Facebook views are also WAY down ever since the AI update 😞 We are completely out of puppy pads AND dry cat food, but if I go buy these things for the 150+ cats and dogs we have in our care, that’s less money going towards these vet bills. We need the clinics that work with us to continue to support what we do, but if we don’t keep up on payments, they won’t be able to do that. 😓💔 We have honestly thought about having to shut down the rescue. Not because we want to - we love what we do. We just don’t know how to get followers to share & donate any more. We used to post for items and get piles of donations, now we’re lucky to get 3-4 donations when we BEG for supplies. 😞 This is life as a nonprofit & we know that others are struggling right now too. Am I a bad boy? 😢 We don't think so! We think Crinkle is just the best boy! He is good with dogs, cats, kids, and even birds! He is still patiently waiting for his forever home and we're all hoping he finds it soon 🤞🤞🤞 he's from a litter of 14 and the last one (including mom) to be adopted 😭😭😭 He has a great personality and doesn’t understand why he hasn’t found his furever home. He loves being outside and with his foster family. He is a very sweet boy and deserves a family of his own. He does great with going potty outside as well. 🐾❤️🏡On our way home 🏡❤️🐾 With the generosity of all of our AMAZING donors, fosters, and our rescue partners Coming Back Home Rescue we were able to pull 49 dogs/puppies! These dogs will be going to fosters starting tonight, if you're still interested in fostering please fill out the application! With this many dogs we could definitely still use donations towards vet care if anyone is able to donate. We could also use some supplies we've added to our wishlist to send to their foster homes with them.
