Gables Run Equestrian has a spot available in our intermediate lesson program. The opening is available to a child or adult (Under 140 pounds due to the size of our horses) with previous riding experience (Must be able to trot, post independently, and have an understanding of diagonals; more experience is a plus!). This opening is available to someone looking to commit to a minimum of one lesson per week with a desire to horse show locally on our safe and quality lesson ponies/horses. Gables Run Equestrian has a limited number of beginner lesson spots now available. These slots are open to kids ages 4-12 that are under 100 pounds (due to the size of our available ponies). For more information please email [email protected].

Gables Run Equestrian Boarders & Riders, Due to the inclement weather headed our way, the barn will be CLOSED until Sunday at 10AM. The horses are tucked in their blankets with warm water, mash, and an all you can eat hay buffet. We will do our best to keep everyone healthy, safe, and happy!!

For Sale: "Bravado" is a 6yr old, 16.3 TB Gelding (had only 2 starts and retired sound from the track). This sweet and well mannered horse is quiet and easy to ride. He has a huge step, auto change, and happily packs around 3'6". Bravado has lots of miles in the Childrens Jumpers having shown in Kentucky, St. Louis, Ohio, and Chicago. Recently he made his debut in the hunter ring and cantered around the 3' with a junior rider in a plain D snaffle and was Champion. This horse can easily do all three rings! He has NO stop, NO spook and can take a joke! Absolutely no vices, easy to live with in the barn, and just a joy to be around! Asking 35K Neg. Located in New Bern, NC. "Bridgett" is a 10yr old, 15.2H, AQHA mare. Bridgett will WTC and jump around 2'+. She is sound, has NO vices, is UTD on everything, barefoot, and happily lives inside or out. Bridgett is brave and honest to the jumps and has shown over fences at local schooling shows. She has been used in our lesson program and is best suited for an intermediate rider.
