This has definitely been the most difficult week we have faced since we started breeding. Unfortunately we had to let our little fighter man go today. This was a very hard decision but at 5 days old he had dropped from 5oz to 4oz even with nursing and being given supplement every hour all day and through the night for the past three days. He let us know it was time for him to go today when he refused to nurse or take the supplement. It has been heartbreaking to watch him suffer and hear him cry all morning after being so hopeful that he would pull through. Today we are extra thankful for the 8 healthy babies we still have and are hugging the rest a little tighter. You can try to prepare yourself for the possibility of losing one soon after birth, which we did with our red little girl but losing two in just a few days is very disheartening. We are hopeful and trying to stay uplifted about finding our remaining 8 the best homes because we know the happiness each of these babies bring to the world makes toughing out the hard times worth it. Here’s your daily dose of dog shaming😂 Willa is very smart but pretty hungry after being sick the past couple of days. I guess she thought the cat food was worth it😂😂

Pups are loving this sunshine!! We will be able to make deliveries for Willa's litter tomorrow on my way up through Oklahoma!
