Our day to day activities range from well pet examinations and vaccines to any assortment of ailments. No two days are ever the same and the schedule commonly changes at a moments notice. We have the capability to perform in-house laboratory work in addition to more complicated testing which is sent to several different national labs. spays, neuters) as well as many non-routine procedures. health is now recognized as being a vital part of animal health. We routinely perform both dental prophies (teeth cleaning) and dental surgery. X-ray capabilities are onsite including a machine to assess the whole body and most recently a specialized digital dental unit which focuses exclusively on the mouth. Ultrasound can also be arranged on site by a board certified internist. We hope you enjoy seeing glimpses of our day!

Careful with the heat out there!

Things that can help you and your pup stay cool in this heat wave...

Take your walks in early morning or in the evening when the sun is lower.

Stay inside with the air conditioner or fans during the heat of the day.

Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Offer your pup cool treats like ice cubes or pupsicles.

Remember, just because you "never see ticks on them" doesn't mean they aren't there. Keeping your pet on year round, veterinary approved flea and tick control is very important to keep them protected.

(Thankfully both of these ticks were dead because they were found on pets on proper preventives)

I was not expecting for the Pet Memorial Post to hit me as much as it did but remembering your furry family members that also became extended family members of mine really reminded me why I love what I do so much and why I am so happy to have been your veterinarian for the past 10 years and look forward to many more years and many, many more furry friends!
