WELCOME BACK TO CAMPUS, Texas Lutheran University Students!

Some sweet pups from Trail's End Rescue stopped by the TLU Alumni Student Center to shower returning students with love and kisses to kick off the new semester. 🐶❤️🐾

💡 Looking for ways to make this semester even better?

* Volunteer with us at our facility in New Braunfels!
* Doggie Day Out: Take one of our dogs for a hike or a playdate at the park.
* Foster: Off-campus students can open their homes to a furry friend in need.

A HUGE Thank You to Shelby and her Cozy Christmas charity that donates to local rescues. Shelby started this project when she was 8 years old to help shelter dogs feel loved at the holidays. Now 14 years old, Shelby has created a wonderful organization that brings real comfort to needy pets. We are so blessed that Trail's End was chosen as a recipient this holiday season. All our dogs and puppies had a cozy wonderful Christmas and are so grateful to Shelby and all her donors. !

Happy Monday everyone! As some as you know, we are working on upgrading our living and playing areas for the dogs in our care and We Need DOG HOUSES! If you have an Igloo style dog house (Any Size) , or a Large plastic type crate, or a doghouse or kennel in good condition that you no longer need, Hit Us UP!
We will pick it up. IF you have one to donate, text a picture with your name and Town or neighborhood to 830-500-8284.
If you dont have a doghouse you can alway contribute to our GoFundMe! Everyone who donates is welcome to make an appointment to come out & see exactly where their donations are going!

We're facing an emergency at Trails End! We've just taken in 3 elderly dogs with serious health issues and now 7 tiny puppies left in a ditch. They need special care, and that’s where we need your help. Every little bit counts—donations go straight to providing food, medical care, and lots of love for these animals. A Huge Thank You to Texas State University Students! 🎓🐾

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing Studies in Entrepreneurship students, led by Dr. Josh Daspit at the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. Through their participation in the university’s Service-Learning Program, they’re making a real difference in the local community—and we are so honored they chose to support Trail’s End Animal Rescue!

A special shoutout to Jason Lightfoot, Sean Murphy, Kendall Harmon, Isabelle Hoopaugh, and Reese Preston for their incredible hard work. Together, they raised $1,000 to help us improve our facilities for the animals in our care.

A Message from Stormy: Why I’m Thankful for Trail’s End Rescue

Dear Friend,

My name is Stormy, and I have a story to tell. On Thanksgiving Day, I was abandoned. Alone, scared, and freezing, I became stuck in a pond with no way out. I thought it was the end.

But then, the angels from Trail’s End Rescue found me. They pulled me to safety, warmed me, and told me I was loved. At 14 years old, I thought no one cared anymore. But here, at Trail’s End, I’ve been given a second chance.

They’re helping me heal, feeding me, and making sure I’m warm and safe. I’m one of the lucky ones. But there are so many others like me—seniors, the sick, the forgotten—who need help too.
