Gigi's Work Day
Our patient Gigi showing her mad skills at the Keystone Canine Training Center! Can your dog do this many tricks??? 😲
This is Charley. He is 19 years young and living his best life! But Charley didn’t always feel this pawesome. For many years he suffered from osteoarthritis and had trouble jumping and climbing. He didn’t feel like playing with toys, didn’t like to be brushed or touched near his hips. Until recently, the only treatments for feline arthritis were pills, powders and treats. While feline OA isn’t curable, we are able to manage it more effectively with a once-a-month injection called Solensia.
Charley’s mom noticed a difference in his behavior within a few weeks of his first injection. He is grooming himself again, climbing on the high shelf of his cat tree, and playing with toys! While he still doesn’t like being on the floor with the dogs, he is much happier and feeling more like himself again!
Is your cat showing signs of osteoarthritis pain? Call us today to schedule an evaluation to find out if Solensia is right for your cat.

Most pet owners assume we can diagnose ear and skin issues just by looking at your pet. While our doctors are good at what they do (the best!), THIS is where the magic happens folks! That discharge in your dog’s ear might look like dirty wax to you, but viewing it under the microscope tells us so much more! Yeast, bacteria, and mites, like the one seen here, can only be diagnosed under the microscope. This simple, non-invasive procedure, called an ear cytology, helps our doctors prescribe the treatment that is appropriate for your pet’s situation. ✌️❤️🦮🐈👩🏻⚕️ #medicalmondays #whatdoyouwanttolearntoday #themoreyouknow #monstersinside #microscopicworld #earmites #earcytology #veterinarynerds #vettechlife #veterinarymedicine #dogs #cats #beavercountypets #newbrightonpa #brvh #bigrockvet

Broad Coverage is Better Coverage!
Canine Lyme disease vaccination is an essential part of year-round protection. The vaccine, along with oral or topical preventives (like Nexgard chews or a Seresto collar) provides the most comprehensive coverage for your dog. Ask us today about an individualized parasite prevention plan for your pet!
Veterinary medicine is a little like a box of chocolates (or mixed nuts, lol), you never know what you’re gonna get. But our team takes every day and every situation in stride. And for that, we THANK YOU 🙏

Ticks are more than just microscopic hitchhikers. They can transmit serious diseases like Lyme, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, and Ricky Mountain Spotted Fever. They are most active in the Spring and Fall, that’s why it is so important to stay on track with your pet’s parasite prevention plan. Whether it’s a topical application, an oral tablet, or collar, we have options that fit your pet’s needs and lifestyle. Ask us today how we can help protect your pet from these harmful pests!
