Teaching Place is one of my favorite obedience commands because it's useful in so many different situations. During this training session we are using a rope instead of a bed. When using a rope the training is a little different. We're using the for distractions.

Polly and Scout working on down with the remote collar. Polly does a great job of marking with NO whenever Scout move then immediately takes her back to her spot. This can be tough in the beginning stages with a young dog who also gets comfort being next to you.
