Update as of today:
Michelle was discharged at the end of last week because they couldn’t do any chemo as in-patient at the hospital. She’s back home and is adjusting to life needing constant assistance. The prognosis without treatment is very grim. The blessing is that there ARE treatment options to sustain her. Through church donations some medical equipment and bills have been paid for but getting started on the treatment is the next hurdle. Initially we were told cash pay was $1000/chemo treatment but now told it’s $6500/chemo treatment. Insurance should kick in next month but the co-pay is $17,000. So… things are stressful. A functional medicine doctor has started her on an alternative treatment as well. We can still use all the help we can get, both financially and through prayer. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out already - believe me, we receive every resource as such a gift.

I’ve met so many wonderful families over the years through my breeding program, I thought maybe a few would read our story and feel led to help. We’re grateful to any monetary help, but please pray for my family also. I KNOW I have an army of believers on this page because I witnessed it just a few short months ago.
After several weeks of intensive testing, we just got the diagnosis that our second daughter Michelle, at 42 years old, has Stage 4 Colon cancer. We know that...
